Great video! Curious how such a difference in times when a TT RS with just a JB4 Stage 1 running a 30% E85 mix can run that exact same 1/4 mile time? I guess doing it on a prepped track makes up the difference. While I do love my TT RS I am jealous of that second cup holder in the RS3!
3 things come to mind. 1st is the 30% ethanol tune. That fuel is around 100 octane at that content. You can run way more timing and boost on 100 octane fuel then you can 93 octane pump gas. 2nd thing is tires. They make a massive difference and these runs were on winter tires. Lastly is the prepped surface that you mentioned. The ability to launch hard out of the hole and get a substantially quicker ET is way easier to achieve on track.

the rs3 might have heavier wheels/brakes and other stuff like extra speakers and a sub, given everything is equal and extra things removed from rs3, same seats too, there shouldn't be enough difference to really matter, the ttrs is too expensive and will probably get more expensive because its apparently the last petrol, its a rich collectors car, ill pass.
