roses are red violets are blue .... watch my videos and subscribe to it to ..... please ............... that would be really good ........... i will subscribe to you as well ....... so fair game
This really felt like a very personal story. No impending doom or anything like that. Just a simple quest to avenge a friend. Arno and Elise both wanted the same thing but had different ways of going about it. Elise was willing to put everything on the line to get revenge, but Arno wasn't. Sure Elise didn't NEED saving, but Arno knew and still tried. She was all he had left, and he didn't want to lose her.
It also used tropes to it's advantage, imo. The love between people of rivaling parties, the determined and pretty Leia type that is also the love interest, the typical lack of trust or betrayals, and a story in Paris is going to have a romantic sub plot. It was tropey but charming.
Shame on all those who criticised this game. The story was amazing, the characters endearing, and their motives believable. The animations were somehow both fluid and brutal. The free running could have spent a few more months in the oven, and I heard of framerate issues, but this is still pretty much my favorite AC game.
+GregTom2 I agree too, the best AC game. I completed it on xbox and i play co-up on PC because my friends are on there.I played it on xbox because my pc lags a bit when i play it.
Jacksaints Yep. I considered using other _similar_ outfits with the same colors, but in the end I thought it was important to keep it canon. I upgraded the outfit/skills only when the missions demanded it, so for example, once I got to the first 2 star mission, I made sure Arno was rated 2 stars. The only exception was towards the end when I saved my 5 star outfit for the very last mission. (There were some continuity reasons for that too)
Patrick Noia I liked a lot of the changes to gameplay and I liked the graphics. I think the story had a strong start but other than that I don't think the story is all that great.
hey Andy, i have to say - i watched many ac movies by now to catch up on what i left out, as well as other game movies (halo series, uncharted, etc.) but your cutting technique is SUPER EPIC SPOT ON, you really nailed it capturing also semi "relevant" kills (like 3 guards before ther main target) to make the whole movie cut fluent and not out of place. That way you left out confusion due to rash jumps in time and such (like cutting out climbing sequences, e.g. that in paris 1944, not relevant to the story but relevant to the flow of the movie), realy love your work and please continue on. I can only play a AC game myself in a few years due to time and open world collectible saturation, but with what you do i can keep on track on the main story arc. Really enjoying your "movie" :-) "presses the thumbs up button several times :D "
I thought Elise had a strong start as a character but I ended up hating her for being so selfish and consumed with revenge. AC black flag's Mary still remains my favourite female character in the AC games. Thanks for the upload!
+Ayleen Tijerina I agree, this game went back to AC roots more than any other, in lots of ways. Arno is almost too Ezio, but you can't be too Ezio for me!
still I saw alot of glitches and bugs in the AI just in this movie..(haven't played the game cause I wouldn't be able to stand those bugs and keep playing
Personally I never experienced any major bugs. I just don't think the story is all that great. It starts out decently enough, but the history is not very accurate compared to other games, the assassins seem backwards at times, and the story just kind of fizzles out halfway through.
I want to congratulate. You're doing an amazing job, I am really impressed by the time you spent on those games just for viewers like us. I've just watched your movie of AC IV and I've been caught by the story from the beginning to the end. It was quite long for a movie, but you couldn't make it any shorter without withering the main story. Your skills are also very appreciated and the gameplay parts were as delightful as the cinematics. After watching your AC IV, I found a random movie of AC V but couldn't stand it for long, as the player is only showing the cute scenes and his playing skills not as good as yours. So I came right back to your videos to enjoy more AC. THANKS!
This is the best video game movie compilation I've ever seen done. You blended the perfect amount of gameplay with cutscenes. It's also rare to see someone who plays a game masterfully enough that it's fun to watch them.
Now, while I was watching the parts where Napoleon shows up, I always had a blurred memory of seeing him somewhere holding an Apple of Eden, and then I remembered... In Assassin's Creed 2 when you're doing those puzzles to unlock The Truth of Adam and Eve, one of the paintings you have to match with something shows Napoleon holding an Apple of Eden. So I re-watched the parts where you see Napoleon and you notice, when Arno first meets him in the King's office right after he opens the secret cabinet near the fireplace, that Napoleon takes out a box, opens it, and a flood of golden light shines on his face, he takes the Apple out and says "Incredible". @ 2:25:27
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!! It's so beautifully done! So much fun to watch! I never believed I'd find somebody like you, making the games into movies like this - thank you, thank you, thank you, you are my hero!
i really enjoyed watching the first 45 minutes. now im so tired im gonna continue it later :). even after havind played the game i still enjoy it to recapture all the moments i might have missed during all the fights. I wish i could give you more than one tumb up for this amazing work
I know some games make it into the movie format, this one was an excellent choice. After finishing the game story a few hours ago, came across this movie format and it really made the experience better, to be able to watch everything in one sitting. Great work!
Love it, absolutely love please do not stop these, screw what the haters say. This is one of the most well executed "walkthroughs"(if I can even call it that) that I've seen on TH-cam. I hope you keep doing these and can't wait for the syndicate movie. :)
+Roopinder Mahil I personally wouldn't call it a Walkthrough myself, since it cuts out significant amount of gameplay, but I suppose it could help with some missions. The main goal though is just to tell the story.
+SleepyKev Syndicate will almost certainly not be until next year for me. I just finished making my Rogue movie, and The Order 1886 is next. After that is Syndicate.
Andy Gilleand Sweet. The Order is already basically a movie, so you could do it without editing it. I haven't played it, but I don't think the gameplay interferes with the cut-scenes. If it does then you might just want to leave it raw. All-in-all you I love these videos you make. You earned a subscriber, and just keep doing what you love doing mate.
+SleepyKev I started working on it back in July. I captured 2.5 hours of footage which resulted in 1.75 hours of movie, so yes, there is still some editing involved, but not much. I paused working on it to do my Arkham Knight movie, but will resume work pretty soon. However, there will be significant VFX work involved to remove as many button prompts as I can.
Sad ending like some of the previous episodes of Assassin's Creed. Getting used to it as I love this game & it's character's. Only those who played this game for years will understand the significance. My respect goes to the maker's of AC.
Bugs aside, it was a good AC game. They did some adventurous stuff like the online co op, and the customization. The only thing that made this game shit was Ubisoft's bullshit deadlines.
haha I've played the games, and I just finished reading the books. Hope they wont mess up the movie though... Altaïr and Connor are my favorites. I love Edward but I prefered reading the book than playing the game. Unity isn't the best one but I liked the game anyway.. I'm just a huge fan of the AC stories -_- I want a book and a game of their origins..that would be awesome! 🙃
Bigby Wilson Yeah I didnt have any bugs past my first day of playing so thats not something i experienced. My issues were narrative arc and pacing. But I agree in terms of customization and co-op which could be great if refined Syndicate was a bit of a safer game.
That's honestly why I didn't like Syndicate much at all. Nothing was much at stake. The twins never had problems, there was so sense of impending potential failure they had to overcome. At points even the twins felt really contrived as character. I much preferred Unities story, and I actually enjoyed Arno as character. Especially in regards to his relationship with Elise. I feel like there was much more they could do though with that concept than what we got in the game. Overall, I guess the best way to describe Unity was a game where its potential outweighed all the poor design choices.
Bigby Wilson Yes I agree and they did a terrible job shoehorning a romance in. Henry was useless the entire game then shows up at the last minute and all of a sudden gets so much credit. I really loved the story of Arno and his relationship with Elise as well. I feel like the ending could have been so much better though. Reading Elise's letters about wanting to be married and have kids Arno as an Assassin Mentor and Elise as a Templar Grandmaster made me feel like they should have actually done that and explored that complexity. That would have made the game truly live up to its name of Unity by unifying an Assassin and a Templar through marriage. Really like you said it was a game where its potential was so great and it just didnt live up to it.
To hell with whatever the Difficulty lvl the game has.. This guy has his own way of #Super_perfect_precise_timed_approach.. its kinda like a hero who knows every single step how the opponent steps including his solder's petrol walking schemes. #awesome Done gr8 job m8!
You definitely took your time doing this! Thanks a lot, you always do the Assassin's series correctly! It was a very deep story and you paid a good amount of detail to the strategy of this new system! No one played or created a movie as best as you man! Greatly appreciated
Yesss I love Unity and my copy was not glitchy at all but unfortunately for so many people it was and now its viewed as a stain in the franchise. I love Arno, Elise, and Bellec.
Abigail Weller Same here, I bought the copy when it launched and it worked pretty much flawlessly. Some minor glitches with the crowds, but that's to be expected in an AC game. All of them have glitches, it's like their signature XD but nothing game breaking and I managed to run it on Ultra with only one GTX980, unlike others.
+Andrea Adkins Connor and Edward have the best outfits in my opinion 🙃 (...well...Duncan's outfit since Edward stole it but anyway..) I wish Altaïr's outfit was better but hey it was the first AC game.
The reason this is my favourite game is because it was my first ever Assassin Creed game and I have fabulous and unforgettable memories from it! Especially that main menu theme.
in my opinion this feels like a better way to experience the game rather than playing it. even though i did very much enjoy playing through it. but because the game is so cinematic, it just feels better to watch as a film than play it as a game. anyone with me on that? btw great work Andy, love the super-cut. looking forward to more of ur vidoes! :)
This... is... Simply... Amazing, Its so good i forgot this is even a game. Edit: i love how you didn't show 90% of the game. Dungeon, investigating, quests, i admire the hard work you put in this. I look forward to new movies type games. Keep it up,
Man i feel so lazy writing a comment right now but i just can't agree with you guys saying that the story line of this game was weak (well besides all the bugs of course)..i see it as something different from what are we use to see in previous AC series..i mean you can't have all the protagonists of the series trying to save the world or a community of people as Connor, Altair, Ezio or Shay. Arno's story it's more personal and small. They bring a much flavoured assassin and it's a love story in there too. In fact it's more deeper than any other AC i have ever seen, it is something different and i like it! I can't believe some of you think this is weak..
I think that's a good point, but even with that I still don't find it as interesting as the other games. I mean, the series is supposed to be about the creed, right?
Well if you ask me i find other series way boring than this one..so i guess it's just a matter of preferences after all. But it is about the creed, in the way that he used it to avenge the people who loved. Every assassin use the creed in a way or another. :)
ralukshik The creed is about following the tenets in order to further the pursuit of freedom. Arno used his _talents_ to carry out a personal vendetta, and broke the tenets over and over again. The assassins were right to cast him out, however they were wrong to ignore the information he had on Germain. In the end, he understood the creed better and I believe Arno ends up starting his own branch of the brotherhood in the future.
GhastlyCloud 775 The combat was more complex than AC2. In that game it's basically swing, swing, block, kick, swing forever until they die. Either that or just steal their weapon and kill them with it which 99% of the time is easier and quicker. In this game you need to use a variety of techniques to maintain stealth or avoid dying if you're found out.
amazing! @ 3:06:52 King Louis was so remarkably talented that he was able to change his hairstyle, even after having his head forcibly removed! although why he would choose to add the curls on each side after his cranial departure will forever remain a mystery...
Wow...... this kinda stuff is really cool and quite interesting, even tho i have own and have finished most of the games you do a movie type of video on i still really enjoy watching these, you are quite a talented person and TH-cam needs more people like you.
***** I know, right? 4 hours and literary nothing happened in the modern world. I mean, NOTHING. The sage was unimportant, the piece of Eden was already claimed to the point where they weren't even going to look for it, the characters of the Modern world are empty shells with no personality (to the point where the player doesn't even exist as an entity. And even Shawn feels lackluster) and the ending explains NOTHING...
***** You're right. I guess Juno just had a severe case of amnesia and forgot she was trying to rule the world. Now she's just gonna pop up in poorly made computers in Abstergo and leave post-it notes around the world _(who came up with this shit? This is LITERARY what she does in AC 4)._ And I guess the pieces of Eden are no longer important. Let's just find the sages or some shit. Gotta catch 'em all, right? Meanwhile, the Assassins, who have been super careful all this time, start recruiting random people online like a fucking poker club. I mean, Lucy had to go through all that shit to join them and twice through it to betray them. They were obviously hard to find and harder to leave. This was a very well written plot with a huge impact on the overall story arc of the series. But now you can just go to an Abstergo arcade in Quebec or some shit, log in and the Assassins will pop up like a fucking youtube add, making you a recruit and revealing EVERYTHING to you from day one _(this is LITERARY what happened in AC Unity. A complete stranger, who for all we know could be a templar too, just joined the assassin's and learned everything about their plans. Just dispatch a team in the catacombs now and kill them all. War over.)_ And can we please talk about how Rebecca and Shawn got completely ruined? They were very cool characters. They were the sole reason I truly looked forward to finishing memory sequences in AC 2 and Brotherhood so that I would speak with them again. (I liked the stories, of course. But I enjoyed the modern day sequences too.) Now they're hollow shells. A ghost of their former selves. Rebecca's attitude and Shawn's sarcasm feel more like poor attempts from the story writers to bring nostalgia and familiarity where there is none. Ok. Sorry for the long comment. Rant over. :/
***** I honestly don't understand how we even put up with their shit anymore. I loved this franchise. I really did. But this isn't the series I used to like. Not anymore at least. I mean, just compare AC Unity with AC 1 or, hell, even 2 or Brotherhood. Aside from the freerunning and the merge of computers and history, they feel nothing alike.
I don't know if you've been aware, But I'll assume you do... ALOT didn't like Unity, and tbh I don't see why's that... YES IT'S TRUE, The story is not the best but still, I really enjoyed it, and i'd really love to hear your opinion about the game overall and what would you rate it out of ten.
I'd give Unity an 8, Rogue was my favorite, and for me was a solid 10, it has an amazing story. ACIV was an 8.5, ACIII was a 6, AC revelations was a 6.5, Brotherhood was a 9, ACII was a 10, and AC was an 8. Sorry if you just wanted my opinion on unity, hope this gives you a better feel of how it stood against the other AC's.
8 or 9. None deserve a perfect 10/10 because they all have issues but that said, most don't like unity because of its launch state rather than the actual game itself and it reflects their whole opinion about the game. It's mostly PC gamers that reflect this hate and its understandable IMO. From what I heard, it was a awful port. I personally didn't e pertinence glitches so all was good for me.
Assassin's Creed: 8.2/10 Assassin's Creed II: 9.4/10 Assassin's Creed Brotherhood: 9/10 Assassin's Creed Revelations: 9.4/10 Assassin's Creed III: 10/10 Assassin's Creed IV: 9.3/10 Assassin's Creed Unity: 8.9/10 Assassin's Creed Syndicate..... i hope it would have the same awesome free roam as ACIII and the same story as ACII and Revelations. What's you opinions ?
+Hussain Nas I would like to see the story continue where it left off with Assassin's Creed 3, I want to know what happened with Juno, was she released just to take a vacation?
anyone ever tell u that u do an amazing job making these. Good job keep up the good work. U should try making some of the DLCs of the assassins creed games like unity dead kings or Syndicate jack the ripper
+Andy Gilleand oh okay thx just keep up ur good wor k but please consider it sometime. people love dlcs if views r ur goal but I understand some need a drive to do something. like me and drawing I can't just draw if I feel no motivation toward it.
I think I like AC better when it's in the Enlightenment era, because I find its of better use for story. And Andy, you're great at this! Certainly better editing than I could do
I want to congratulate you. I've watched all these assassins creed movies. You add just enough to make it good but not boring. These are very fun to watch :)
+Rebecca Johnson I had a neighbour once who used to sing that song, loud and badly, every single afternoon. If that song ever gets into my head I run straight for the nearest brick wall to knock my head on...
+Ian McGarr (The Machine) cause it's an assassins creed game. A woman has to die to serve the male protagonists cause 😒. It's a miracle Evie and Rebecca weren't killed (yet)
So far liking this one so much better then the last two. The last two were hard to get into. Not because of you Andy, just because the games were not as well made story wise, by the game makers. But loving this one.
+Lily Moellenberndt haha honestly, I think exactly the opposite. AC4 and AC3 are probably my favorite stories in the series, aside from the modern day anyway. Unity does have a strong start, though.
+Andy Gilleand I just could not get into Black flag and Freedom. All the other ones I have loved so far and I like Unity as well. I think it has something to do with the movement into the past and future. I like the Black Pirate from Freedom, but I think they could of done so much more with him. And do not get me started on losing Desmond. Man I liked that dude. Anyways regardless you have done well on these! Thanks for making em. :B
+Lily Moellenberndt No problem. I really love Edward myself, and I think Black Flag is the best written story out of all of them. That being said, obviously it doesn't appeal to everyone. And yeah more could have been done with Adewale (although he is in AC Rogue a bit), but Freedom Cry was just a 4 hour downloadable story expansion, so that's why they were a bit limited. I liked it for what it was.
+Andy Gilleand As long as you keep making movies I will keep watching them. Weather I could get fully into them or not. You just do a good job and there is never a time I wanna take your controls and say "NOOOO look over there what is that!" You get it all and leave me very few questions. Are there anymore games after Rogue?
+Lily Moellenberndt yes, Syndicate will come after that. I will be working on that one pretty soon. Working on a different movie right now though, The Order 1886, which should be out in approximately 2-3 weeks.
Andy, you played this well. Great stealth work. I would have preferred you to not kill everyone sometimes, but still, your stealth and speed through the missions made it more convincing. Great work. Ik im late but ye
I think I only remembered about non lethal takedowns later, too late to rerecord everything but I agree if I had done it again I would probably use them more.
Thank you for this. No disrespect to anybody who likes Unity, but I just can't play it. But I'm still interested in the story so this is very helpful for me.
I'm glad you're considering an Assassin's Creed Liberation movie. I know the game isn't as good as the others, but Aveline is cool character. And the style in which you do your video game movies is the best.
***** It's definitely in my list of movies to do eventually. I just never have the time to get around to it, since I always have other movie ideas I think are a bit more high priority. Right now, after Arkham Knight I still have AC Rogue, The Order 1886, and AC Liberation on my list.
Assassin's Creed games from my favorite to least favorite (excluding Syndicate) 1. AC: Black Flag 2. AC 2 3. AC: Rogue 4. AC 3 5. AC: Freedom Cry 6. AC: Unity 7. AC: Revelations 8. AC 1
Man, bless you. Unity is too big for my laptop (a fact I discovered after having attempted to play it on the lowest graphic settings possible several times), but Syndicate runs great and I don't wanna miss out on any plot that could connect to Syndicate. I also don't wanna deal with watching some guy who starts off his videos with a loud dubstep intro and makes sexist and racist comments throughout the playthrough, so this is a great alternative to the real thing.
Please please please do Rogue man you're the king of video game movies and it would mean the world to me if you did that too. Also it's only 6 sequences so it shouldn't be as long as the others!
Tom 22 I plan to. Not sure if it'll be my next movie or not, since I might do Shadow of Mordor, but I do plan to do it. Also, I'm going to take a bit of a rest before I star working on the next movie since I've been working on this since mid January lol, and haven't gotten to play hardly anything else since. I've got quite the backlog now.
Andy Gilleand You did a awesome job with this. I think you could have left out the server sweeper parts. They just made no sense to me, even when I was playing the game.
I have watched all of your assassin's creed movies so far and in the middle of this one I have realized that you have not used eagle vision once in all of them. i could be wrong and you used a few times but i am pretty sure you havent used it in the gameplay for these movies.
I prefer to keep it off, as it doesn't feel right in a movie, and the tagging of enemies also looks bad in the movies, but I do think there may have been a few moments in the series where I had to use it. Revelations when tracking down the first Templar captain comes to mind (I'm replaying that right now, so it's fresh in my mind)
Well I did practice a *lot* at finding the best routes I could to get 100% sync in as many levels as possible (in this game anyway), because not only does it look cool in the movie that way, but it also significantly shortens the length of the gameplay segments, which makes things much easier in editing.
+Andy Gilleand Well I gotta hand it to you. I don't know if I have the patience to go through levels multiple times to perfect it. Keep doing what you are doing because you're great at it and I love it
Very well done. Thank you for that movie. I wanted to pick up AC Syndicate but I hadn't played Unity yet. This was a perfect way to see what I would have missed, now I don't have to. Good job!
Christopher Willis Yeah, we don't really know what's up with her at this point. I believe there are some documents hidden in Rogue that have some things to do with Juno, but doesn't really tell you anything new afaik.
Andy Gilleand Yeah I played Rogue, good game, but couldn't bring myself to finish Unity. The modern story was all that was keeping me going, and i doubt ill be buying anymore AC games. A real shame
Andy Gilleand Thanks Andy. Im not sure about the future direct of AC, Unity was the last straw for me, which is a shame as Black Flag was one of my favourite games of all time, let alone in the AC franchise. Im happy to resort to watching the rest of TH-cam now
Christopher Willis Unity was the first game on a new engine, like AC1 and AC3, which both had plenty of issues in both story and technical problems. I have a feeling Syndicate will fix those problems just like AC2 and AC4 did. If you still want to wait, I still recommend buying the game if you like the movie.
One thing bugs me. Assuming that Arno didn't know about the Assassins and the Templars until he met Bellic, how the heck did he know how to parkour? Did Elise taught him? It's the same thing as Edward. As if years of pirating could lead you to be a parkour master and so good in combat that you can dual wield a pair of swords.Yet again, I shouldn't question too much about video games. BTW, can't take this seriously anymore after watching Conan O'Brien played this game.
Why didn't you comment on how Ezio could parkour when he was a normal boy? Yet you question why Edward can parkour. Edward would've probably learnt from being a privateer (climbing around the ship) and Arno would've probably been taught by François de la Serre, as he had hoped Arno would've become a Templar. No hostility intended, just curious as to your questioning.
I can assume Ezio's father taught Ezio parkour as a way for him to handle the jobs given to him easier. I guess the same thing can be said about Arno. I really agree about Francois wanting Arno to be a Templar. According to an interview with Arno's VA, Arno doesn't mind being a Templar as long as he can be with Elise. Plus, he's also not into hunting Shay for vengeance for killing his father, especially after seeing how Elise acted to have her revenge against Germain. Edward is an easier target since thinking realistically, it would be very difficult for him to dual wield swords unless he's ambidextrous. At least Shay complimented his weaker arm with a dagger.
KrystCyclone Thank you for the reply, and I completely agree with Ezio's reasons. Arno being a Templar would've been quite cool, but I suppose they couldn't really put it under an Assassin's Creed title. :/ (I know Rogue had the Assassin's Creed title but Shay was an assassin at the start)
Beautiful story told in an equally beautiful way. It saddened me that Elise was killed even tho I understand why that was bound to happen. Thank you for taking the time to really bring the stories to life. 🙏🏻 The only thing that would have made this movie better is if it had captions or a higher volume.
This was before I was captioning every video, and unfortunately it's too hard to go back and transcribe every video (although I try to do what I can when I have extra free time). The volume seems fine to me here. I don't think I could have turned it up any louder without causing distortion, so that might just be your speakers/headphones perhaps.
@@AndyGilleand I was taken by surprise that you replied… and so quickly. I totally understand the distortion part about the volume. ☺️ I thank you for your time and work invested in making these movies.
It was a shame the game had such bad performance and optimization on launch day which gave it a shit stamp. I played through it recently and IMO it's one of the better games to have the AC title.
Appreciate the addition of gameplay and that the videos here show more than others, as they include trailings and more dialogue. I think subtitles would help and makes things a bit better, when it comes to appreciating the dialogue. Sometimes words can be hard to make out when there's a lot of action happening at the same time.
FUCKING WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! I admire your dedication and passion for this project! I can tell you love games just like myself...we do it dor the experience, it is like watching a movie, but way more immersivebecause you're in control. You have a new subscriber and I am sharing this right now! Only watched a little bit because I am busy, but I will give you full feedback when im done. Keep doing what you love, you're great at it! ps do you have a facebook page ? didn't see it . cheers!
Andy Gilleand I figured that out. I've sent you a friend request. ;) You need to market yourself better bro. Make one, videos uploaded native to facebook go viral as well, its a great platform to give value to your audience and find more followers. just friendly advice, ofc you're free to do whatever the fuck you want to do. :P Cheers!
Andy Gilleand I see. I have a certain hobby myself and I realized if I don't treat it like a biz it will not grow the way I want it to grow even though I don't do anything on YT for now. But content on facebook and IG helps a lot..anways, just sharing my 2 cents. Keep doing your thing man!
Many people would just add cutscenes together and call it a "movie" but not you Andy, your work is very good!
I love assasines
Naeryo1 I love pussy
roses are red violets are blue .... watch my videos and subscribe to it to ..... please ............... that would be really good ........... i will subscribe to you as well ....... so fair game
Naeryo1 yeah it’s nice because we have some gameplay to understand what’s happening. Love u bro
I like it si much
I liked how he more or less kept the outfit as close to canon as possible. It made it feel somewhat pleasing to enjoy watching
I read the book and it was from elises point of view and it is a shame that she died
InFuckingDeed
+GregTom2 I agree too, the best AC game. I completed it on xbox and i play co-up on PC because my friends are on there.I played it on xbox because my pc lags a bit when i play it.
Hehe...
well, when you put it that way...
+thomas brady Agree 👍
Best Comment i have seen :D
I love the fact that you kept arno's gear on the whole time so it seems canon!
(There were some continuity reasons for that too)
Jacksaints what does canon mean
Patrick Noia it means official to the story
Andy Gilleand hey Andy did you like unity
"Will you let me stay if I do?"
"Certainly not!"
'Then, if it's all the same to you - I think I'll stay up here"

My favorite lines on the game:
"Prison's scrambled your brain old man!"
"Drink took care of that a long time ago".
Yeah that's a great line
Yes haha
Ah guys if u play on ps4 maybe we can create a party and roll the city in co-op :)
Mine is Thair killing the prisoners in here.
I'm partial to:
"Hear that sound? that's opportunity?"
That's cannon fire!"
"Sometimes opportunity sounds a lot like cannon fire"
I thought Elise had a strong start as a character but I ended up hating her for being so selfish and consumed with revenge. AC black flag's Mary still remains my favourite female character in the AC games. Thanks for the upload!
Did you know that she (Elise) wrote a letter to Arno in which she tolf that she will kill her self in the last fight against German?
That moment when you realize that video games are just long movies, and love it.
Thanks so much for taking the time to do this. Probably takes a long time to upload. I admire your patience.
Took about 30 hours
megaman7501 I would love to help you out but unfortunately I haven't bought a brand name pc in probably 15 years. Been building for quite some time.
megaman7501 I'm a console gamer too but I know that my friend uses certain parts from Novatech
Andy Gilleand Damn. Just a tip if you encode your videos on MKV they process a lot quicker than videos in MP4 (or other).
megaman7501 I would strongly suggest you build your own but if you really want to get a prebuild there are some good places, what country are you in?
why are people saying that unity is horrible. ITS AMAZING! Best game ever! Arno is awsome
+Ayleen Tijerina I agree, this game went back to AC roots more than any other, in lots of ways. Arno is almost too Ezio, but you can't be too Ezio for me!
Ikr
still I saw alot of glitches and bugs in the AI just in this movie..(haven't played the game cause I wouldn't be able to stand those bugs and keep playing
Ayleen Tijerina
Noob
Daniel HS[4] actually Ubisoft installed a ton of patches
Why do people say that this is the worst game? Aside from the bugs and glitches this is awesome with a great storyline.
Personally I never experienced any major bugs. I just don't think the story is all that great. It starts out decently enough, but the history is not very accurate compared to other games, the assassins seem backwards at times, and the story just kind of fizzles out halfway through.
Andy Gilleand yeah, true, still I've only experienced one glitch which check out my last video to see it. I give this game an 8/10.
JasonO Peridorito yeah how could anyone hate this game? IT'S AMAZING AND FUCKING FUN!!!
I only liked the Multiplayer thats about it
I haven't play the game myself but your right I like the storyline Arno is very entertaining and I feel like I am in Britain anytime I watch this
I want to congratulate.
THANKS!
The only historical lesson I wanna be involved in.
Message Man true
Message Man bitch

Brandon Allen woahhhhhh. someone’s mad
This is the best video game movie compilation I've ever seen done. You blended the perfect amount of gameplay with cutscenes. It's also rare to see someone who plays a game masterfully enough that it's fun to watch them.
Cary Fatseas Thanks, I put a lot of work into this one for sure. Replayed some missions dozens of times until I was happy with my run, lol.
When he mentioned how monterregioni was rebuilt, it gave me chills 😂😂
@ 2:25:27
+Kareem Mukayed I miss those puzzles, they were cool.
I love how all the assassins creeds fit with each other perfectly, the developers are so damn smart! My favorite assassins are Ezio and the Kenway's
+Kareem Mukayed
It was actually not the Apple itself, but a key that leads to where the Apple is kept. It's covered in the Unity add-on game.
I saw that shiny face as well, I thought he found some shinny gold. Thanks for the info mate
+Kareem Mukayed i know right??
You know what would've made the game more awesome? If they would do a game based around a group of assassins called the musketeers.
But the Musketeers worked for the King of France. They served as King Louis's (the one/s that reigned during the Revolution) guards.
OMFG I COULDNT AGREE MORE
I can see it coming: Assassin's Creed: World War 2
Lmfao
Up next:
Assassins Creed: Wuhan
Lmao assasins creed wuhan
I can imagine it but theyd do some weird name. Maybe ac: chambers.
Assassin's Creed and American greed will be my favourite

Great work!
Great work, Andy! We all appreciate your efforts!
I love Assassin's Creed Unity

Finished the game a while back, just watching this again. Wow... never knew that was Francois Germain in the carriage!
+Andy Gilleand You going to upload Syndicate yet?
I'm 61 and I love this game makes me want to jump like them keep up the good work
Sad ending like some of the previous episodes of Assassin's Creed. Getting used to it as I love this game & it's character's. Only those who played this game for years will understand the significance. My respect goes to the maker's of AC.
Napoleon Bonaparte AND Marquis De Sade? LOVE IT! Lol!
Hate me all you wan. I'm the biggest AC fan you'll ever meet(played literally ever game) and this is in my top 3.
#awesome
Done gr8 job m8!
Ahmed Abdul Salam you said Gratet and matet. if you use 8 it is the end, by adding the T's to the end you go from m8 (mate) to m8t (matet)
nerdisum spotted.. :P
#edited_bro!
Ahmed Abdul Salam *Bows* Thank you. :P
Probably my favourite AC besides the Ezio trilogy
Physical Zeppelin Better than Revalations in my opinion.
I'm more of a black flag fan, this seems like ac 3
Well it takes place less than 20 years after AC3
You always make the best AC movies. I love watching your recordings. You include so much in them that we get the whole story.
You definitely took your time doing this! Thanks a lot, you always do the Assassin's series correctly! It was a very deep story and you paid a good amount of detail to the strategy of this new system! No one played or created a movie as best as you man!
Greatly appreciated
I think this should actually call a movie!!! awesome work man ..... love to watch it...And also love your work!!
I love this game! It's a shame it has such a bad reputation because of its rocky launch.
True, also in my opinion Arno has the best outfit.
+Andrea Adkins Connor and Edward have the best outfits in my opinion 🙃 (...well...Duncan's outfit since Edward stole it but anyway..)
I wish Altaïr's outfit was better but hey it was the first AC game.
The reason this is my favourite game is because it was my first ever Assassin Creed game and I have fabulous and unforgettable memories from it! Especially that main menu theme.
love this game so much 😎
Great editing. Just the right amounts of gameplay and cutscenes. Smooth transitions that seem movie-like. Very well done.
ow wow you do a really great job making these! respect!
in my opinion this feels like a better way to experience the game rather than playing it. even though i did very much enjoy playing through it. but because the game is so cinematic, it just feels better to watch as a film than play it as a game. anyone with me on that? btw great work Andy, love the super-cut. looking forward to more of ur vidoes! :)
Is it just me or does the guy that trained Arno look like black beard
+GamingSarge Lol never thought of that.
Kinda sounds like him too
+Aqua106 ikr
You mean bellec
he looked like keanu reeves
This... is... Simply... Amazing,
Its so good i forgot this is even a game.
GhastlyCloud 775 The gameplay and graphical improvements still make this an important step for the franchise imo.
GhastlyCloud 775 The combat was more complex than AC2. In that game it's basically swing, swing, block, kick, swing forever until they die. Either that or just steal their weapon and kill them with it which 99% of the time is easier and quicker. In this game you need to use a variety of techniques to maintain stealth or avoid dying if you're found out.
amazing! @ 3:06:52 King Louis was so remarkably talented that he was able to change his hairstyle, even after having his head forcibly removed! although why he would choose to add the curls on each side after his cranial departure will forever remain a mystery...
best assassins creed ever
Wow...... this kinda stuff is really cool and quite interesting, even tho i have own and have finished most of the games you do a movie type of video on i still really enjoy watching these, you are quite a talented person and TH-cam needs more people like you.
This is why killing Desmond was a dumb idea because the story has been pretty much standing still ever since.
༼ つ◕ω◕ ༽つ WOW Exactly. I mean are we just supposed to forget the whole end of the world plot that was building up?
***** You're right. I guess Juno just had a severe case of amnesia and forgot she was trying to rule the world. Now she's just gonna pop up in poorly made computers in Abstergo and leave post-it notes around the world
_(who came up with this shit? This is LITERARY what she does in AC 4)._
And I guess the pieces of Eden are no longer important.
But now you can just go to an Abstergo arcade in Quebec or some shit, log in and the Assassins will pop up like a fucking youtube add, making you a recruit and revealing EVERYTHING to you from day one
_(this is LITERARY what happened in AC Unity. A complete stranger, who for all we know could be a templar too, just joined the assassin's and learned everything about their plans. Just dispatch a team in the catacombs now and kill them all. War over.)_
And can we please talk about how Rebecca and Shawn got completely ruined? They were very cool characters. They were the sole reason I truly looked forward to finishing memory sequences in AC 2 and Brotherhood so that I would speak with them again.
(I liked the stories, of course. But I enjoyed the modern day sequences too.)
Now they're hollow shells. A ghost of their former selves. Rebecca's attitude and Shawn's sarcasm feel more like poor attempts from the story writers to bring nostalgia and familiarity where there is none.
Ok. Sorry for the long comment. Rant over. :/
༼ つ◕ω◕ ༽つ WOW It may be a rant but it's a very accurate rant.
You know what my favorite part of the unity story was? The WW2 part. I play unity a lot (and I like it) and the snipers and planes were ass pains
But it was coooool
+Jean Ragasa I want a WW2 assassins creed
+Martin Sørensen dansk??
I don't know if you've been aware, But I'll assume you do...
ALOT didn't like Unity, and tbh I don't see why's that...
YES IT'S TRUE, The story is not the best but still, I really enjoyed it, and i'd really love to hear your opinion about the game overall and what would you rate it out of ten.
I'd rate it like 8.5
I'd give Unity an 8, Rogue was my favorite, and for me was a solid 10, it has an amazing story.
Assassin's Creed: 8.2/10
Assassin's Creed II: 9.4/10
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood: 9/10
Assassin's Creed Revelations: 9.4/10
Assassin's Creed III: 10/10
Assassin's Creed IV: 9.3/10
Assassin's Creed Unity: 8.9/10
Assassin's Creed Syndicate..... i hope it would have the same awesome free roam as ACIII and the same story as ACII and Revelations. What's you opinions ?
+Hussain Nas I would like to see the story continue where it left off with Assassin's Creed 3, I want to know what happened with Juno, was she released just to take a vacation?
YEYY FINALLY SOMEONE GIVES THE FULL MOVIE YOUR MY FAV TH-camR HERE
I DO NOT CARE IF I STAY UP TILL MIDNIGHT WATCHING THIS I WILL FINNISH THIS IN ONE DAY
+Grace Harlan XD did you finish your goal?
+Courtney Lyles Yup
I may or may not have fallen asleep in math. Whoops.
+Grace Harlan lolz
+Grace Harlan Haha ;D
anyone ever tell u that u do an amazing job making these. Good job keep up the good work. U should try making some of the DLCs of the assassins creed games like unity dead kings or Syndicate jack the ripper
I considered those, but I didn't feel the stories were strong enough to warrant my time. Freedom Cry was the only AC DLC I really liked.
+Andy Gilleand oh okay thx just keep up ur good wor k but please consider it sometime. people love dlcs if views r ur goal but I understand some need a drive to do something. like me and drawing I can't just draw if I feel no motivation toward it.
+Andy Gilleand would you dump In a pool of water how old do you think I am
+Orrin 45 so how old are you 21😏😏😂😂
After watching the rogue story... A shay vs. Arno fight would've been epic!
That would be pretty cool. Shay vs Connor would be great too.
+Andy Gilleand yeah!

|PixelKnight| Sir DorkTHH Awesome, thanks!
For some reason seeing Arno looking at Elise's dead body had the song "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston play in my head.
+Rebecca Johnson I had a neighbour once who used to sing that song, loud and badly, every single afternoon. If that song ever gets into my head I run straight for the nearest brick wall to knock my head on...
+Rebecca Johnson Ugh why did she have to die.
+Ian McGarr (The Machine) cause it's an assassins creed game. A woman has to die to serve the male protagonists cause 😒. It's a miracle Evie and Rebecca weren't killed (yet)
+Joseph mckenzie not true
definitely 1 of my favourite assassins his demeanor attitude & the way he fights 👌
@@AndyGilleand it's all good. Still quality gameplay
Thank you for this. No disrespect to anybody who likes Unity, but I just can't play it. But I'm still interested in the story so this is very helpful for me.
Keep it up 👌
2187day pay bro
I'm glad you're considering an Assassin's Creed Liberation movie. I know the game isn't as good as the others, but Aveline is cool character. And the style in which you do your video game movies is the best.
***** It's definitely in my list of movies to do eventually. I just never have the time to get around to it, since I always have other movie ideas I think are a bit more high priority. Right now, after Arkham Knight I still have AC Rogue, The Order 1886, and AC Liberation on my list.
+Andy Gilleand are you doing a rouge or syndicate movie ???
Hellcutter399 both. Rogue will be my next movie. I will start working on that whenever I finish playing mgs5.
+Andy Gilleand cool :)
+Andy Gilleand what order should I watch the movies in?
That movie was so beautiful, congratulations everyone to this awesome movie video😍😍
Assassin's Creed games from my favorite to least favorite (excluding Syndicate)
1. AC: Black Flag
2. AC 2
3. AC: Rogue
4. AC 3
5. AC: Freedom Cry
6. AC: Unity
7. AC: Revelations
8. AC 1
My top ones are 1. Black Flag 2. Syndicate 3. Ac2 4. Rogue 5. Unity 6. Brotherhood 7. Revelations 8. Ac3 9. Ac1 10. Liberation
Shadow of Mordor is an excellent game, my personal game of the year. I love Rogue, but I love Shadow of Mordor better!
SAMAKUSgamer I'm working on my Shadow of Mordor movie right now!
Andy Gilleand You did a awesome job with this. I think you could have left out the server sweeper parts. They just made no sense to me, even when I was playing the game.
DMG dubP Abstergo is tracking you down, so you have to switch to a different Helix server before they catch you. Plus the scenes are cool :)
I love how arno started following in the path of shay when he started defying the order and got exiled
just realizing now that the silver smith is the grand master and sage. god this game was rough
Is this really Connor kenway I have a question how was it like killing your father Haytham
Ezio Auditore Da Firenze and your even stupid more then bec its a game character not real idiot....
+Andy Gilleand I have to give you credit for being able to do some of this without it
I abused it way too much in this game 😆
Well I did practice a *lot* at finding the best routes I could to get 100% sync in as many levels as possible (in this game anyway), because not only does it look cool in the movie that way, but it also significantly shortens the length of the gameplay segments, which makes things much easier in editing.
+Andy Gilleand Well I gotta hand it to you. I don't know if I have the patience to go through levels multiple times to perfect it.
Keep doing what you are doing because you're great at it and I love it
Yes
omg yas i have been waiting for this thanks so much xD
I use this for my Assassin's Creed Unity missions missions
Very well done. Thank you for that movie. I wanted to pick up AC Syndicate but I hadn't played Unity yet. This was a perfect way to see what I would have missed, now I don't have to. Good job!
Shay killed him when Arno and Elise was talking about how they faces when they took the Apple you walk past them in rogue
Thanks for uploading. Your movie edits are the best I've seen. Keep up the good work.
What happened with the Juno story? There seems to be no mention of it / no continuation of it in Unity...
Christopher Willis they said the modern story in syndicate is going to be a lot more important
Thank you for making this! I could not force myself to play through this snooze fest but I didn’t want to miss the story. Well done!
Hi I love your videos keep up the good work thanks
Wow, u got all the cinematics from in-game and put it into movie?! Must've been pain. Great job on this
One thing bugs me.
+KrystCyclone Dual wielding swords isn't something that requires super special assassin training.
+KrystCyclone Well Arno is French so may be it's genetic.
i love how you cleverly put annotations for the previous movies on the start
they skiped some sceans like walking at the beginning
"He's a Templar. Is that what you found?"
He sounds so fucking done
Where is Shay I can't see him?
Slade Wilson I agree
Wow!! Whoever has played this, has done a great job. So many clean kills!!! Awesome!!
Thanks! I worked hard and replayed most of these missions many times until I got a run that felt just right :)
And you never die how?????
editing
+Andy Gilleand cheater
Theawesomebros Yup it's us this is a movie...
+Andy Gilleand ik jk
How u no speak for 4 hours .______₩
I love this game movie I love every bit of it thanks
Love what you did with the annotations at the beginning.
Thanks! I thought it was a cool idea :)
Beautiful story told in an equally beautiful way. It saddened me that Elise was killed even tho I understand why that was bound to happen.
Thank you for taking the time to really bring the stories to life. 🙏🏻
The only thing that would have made this movie better is if it had captions or a higher volume.
I thank you for your time and work invested in making these movies.
Arno as Brandon Fraser!!!!!! Who agrees with me!!
just looking at the graphics from the first assassins creed to this is just amazing.
Keep doing what you love, you're great at it!
ps do you have a facebook page ? didn't see it . cheers!
Martin Uzunov I only have my own personal facebook page. Nothing specifically for the youtube channel.
:P Cheers!
Martin Uzunov this isn't really a business for me. Just a hobby.
Thanks for this. I don't own a console and my PC ain't shit but I can still experience this story.
