Any trouble finding space to pitch the Durston on the JMT? Thank you for taking the time to share your gear and your thoughts behind each piece. Nicely done.
There were certainly times when I had fewer options than my brother with his freestanding tent, but never a time when could find a spot. Thanks for watching!
@@SideTrailAdventures I know I asked you about the water pouch, so I’m not sure if you’re answering about that, but I can’t find anything about the coozie, can you link it? Thanks man!
@@jasonlackey1960 I haven't done a how-to video on making the coozie yet but have plans to when I get some time. There's no hard and fast technique but I used reflectix insulation and mylar tape for looks. Any heavy duty tape will do though.
My pack is a Granite Gear Crown 2 60L if that's what you're referring to. I've taken a hard look at hyperlite when my Crown 2 decides it's done though. Thanks for watching!
@@SideTrailAdventures no, I was talking about your clothes bag towards the end of the video, before your sleeping gear bag. It’s got the black buckle clips to lock down
Ah gotcha. That's a Zpacks large roll top bag I've had for a while (zpacks.com/products/large-rectangle-dry-bag). I don't necessarily trust it to be completely waterproof, but it's still good for weather proof/keeping clean clothes clean, etc. Hope this helps!
Thanks for sharing you pack inventory with us!
Right on, thanks for watching!
I really liked your video while hiking. A very nice gear dump change from the norm.
Doing the JMT this Oct 2, 2022
Thanks! That was my thought too...just a little something different. Thanks for watching!
Woohoo! Happy trails!
Thanks for sharing the battery bag!
Thanks for making such an awesome bag!👍👍

Good stuff! 🥾🥾⛰
Thanks for watching!
Can you do a video on how you made your coozie for your cookware?
It's on my to-do list for videos!

Is your roll top a hyper lite too?
