I'm considering replacing some windows, but the one thing I never see anyone demonstrating is how well their product holds up to the sun. I live in florida where you can have a sunburn in 10 minutes. The sun here can make most vinyl brittle as an eggshell in a year. Even rubber like wipers, doesn't matter about quality, your wipers will be toast in 3 months even if you never use them. That's why I need to replace some windows. The current windows are only 10 years old, yet the sun has destroyed the seal between the panes and they are all cloudy now. Sure they have a warranty, but I want something that will last more than 10 years, or that has a warranty that covers labor too.
