That is interesting because we are all getting to see what you can get at the lower end of the pricing.
I have to say it did not set my heart racing, but it did look to be a practical and well equipped car. Perhaps one I would buy for my wife if she fell for it….. and if I later survived. We need more of these working cars because they are where the real innovation is going on. Forget the premium brands which are doing nothing useful.

People are looking for more affordable EVs so let's see if they go for them when offered

The margin between a larger hatchback and a small SUV is getting very small. I like this one, it's not going to set my heart racing but I like the curves. I much prefer this type of styling to the sharp, angular style eg Ionic 5. I'm not keen on the inside, might be better if it comes in a black or grey interior trim.

I think for the money, potentially. Need to drive it to see what it's like

I just drove a Seres 5 today, and I didn’t like the electronically adjusted air vents. No matter how I adjusted them, I was too cold around my neck, even at 23 degrees Celsius and everything is run through the bloody iPad. This looks way better with manual buttons and vents, but range is 100km too short and the charging at 60kW is just not good enough. Anyone know if it’s LFP battery as the Seres 5?

Seems like they've used a lot of the ice parts bin switch gear which is a gpod thing in my book. Im not for all these button in infotainment screens.
31k in UK. Probably 40 k by the time it gets to Ireland and thats model y money, with better range and charging capability (and not so many hidden buttons yet)

DC fast charging is supported up to 50 kW, but obviously you won't reach such speeds in extreme temperatures (both cold and hot). In addition to that, if the battery temperature is out of range, 0°C ~ 40°C, the vehicle will first warm or cool down the battery before the actual charging starts. This process takes power from the charger. This happens in both DC and AC charging.
Max AC charging is supported up to 11 kW using level 2 charger. The free charger you get with the vehicle is level 1 charger, and it supports up to 3.5 kW.
Consumption will be high in cold temperatures. This happens with all EVs. Real world data collected from European owners from Facebook group state 200~250 km of range in cold temperatures. I am from Pakistan and temperature in major cities is extremely high. It's common to have temperature between 40°C ~ 48°C. The owners in my country report 280~290km of range on motorway with 120kph of speed. In city driving, we usually get 300~330km of range, which is not bad.
The EV is good for the price we are paying here in Pakistan. It's value for money, at least for us. It costs USD 30,151 here in Pakistan.

this brand should be avoided. this was the Seres iX3 in China, which sold badly and was discontinued. now they're trying to flog these sub-standard EVs elsewhere. i really like Chinese EVs, but this ain't it.
