I have the 1998 version of this I got him from an antique shop for only 10 dollars he was brand new and he fully works too and he even came with the original Walgreens receipt from 1998.
Hi I've recently got a used Gemmy talking tree and it works as far as the built-in songs except the eyes don't close when it's done singing. The main problem I'm having is that when I use the aux input the sound comes through the tree speaker but the mouth doesn't move and the eyes don't light up. I searched online to try to find if that can be fixed but so far I have not found anyone who had the same exact problem. It does seem strange that the mouth will move and the eyes will light up when it plays the built-in songs but not when there is audio input into the aux input even though you can hear the sound come through the tree's speaker. If anyone has any ideas of how this can be fixed (if it can be fixed) thanks in advance for posting those ideas. If I can't find any ideas online on how to fix it I might just go ahead and try figuring out how to fix it by checking inside to see if there's anything obvious or not.
