Sometimes, we have to meet ourselves in God's eyesight which is 10xs worse than we think or perceive. We can't see it because we're deceived. It's a blind spot that only God can see and setup a tailor-made situation to call us out.... that is by bringing us to a certain point to get it right. I lay it all on me, I'm the one who messed up many times. I cry aloud to Jesus to make me what he wants me to be. They reject me daily, I work hard, but the prosperity seems to pass me by. He chose Jacob by His foreknowledge of how he would respond to the mercies of God shown him after he had sinned. No one is good except the one God cleans up.
