5:25 as a target worker, the box already has a handle on it, but it easier to just carry the box, the straps are meant more for toilet paper rolls and lighter items
also, simon says about the handles falling off, but if they are designed right, when you place it on the heavy item, the weight of it should create a force acting on the sticky handle that actually makes it even stronger. for example, in aldi our big 6 litre bottles or whatever they are that you can buy has this same thing. basically when you pick it up from the handle, the stretching of the tape actually strengthens the grip it has on the bottle. some physicist smarter than me could probably explain it better and more technically but oh well
Regarding the paper towel in the lettuce (that's what I do) or spinach, it does work. It won't make it last for 2 weeks, but it does last longer than just in the bag. :)
4:39 swear i knew it before. We use to have ceiling fans for days in our house and me and my siblings always use to play with the switch and we found out the air flow differnece is alot
7:32 Didn't know about that one but why would you not just pull the entire thing off like a normal person rather than doing it like this and probably eating small bits of the thin plastic membrane?
@@Sunset553 clockwise, but if it’s spinning fast enough it doesn’t really matter, if anything the best part of the feature is you do it depending on where you want the air flow, if you want the air flow in the centre of the room you should do it clockwise, if you have a bed or something along the wall its best counterclockwise because it will blow the cool air on you instead of the middle
I've never known about it until now and never seen anyone use it. How do you figure that out by yourself? I'm confused how everyone is acting like it's super obvious lol
How did he not know that the keyboard thing was a thing 😅
I know right😅
fr
I didn't 😅
Never seen anyone not use it
🤷
Hey Simon I’m pretty sure the hanging pillow is so it can dry after you wash it
But don’t you only wash the pillow CASE so you can just hang it up with pegs.
@@Apple_Slices. it depends on the pillow but some have stuffing instead of a regular pillow so you just wash the entire pillow
@@Khnight438 damn, somehow I’ve never heard of that. I guess the hack shown was solid then
Same for the shoes IMO

Is it an american thing, cause I haven't seen one in my life!

Do NOT put washing up liquid in your dishwasher unless you want foam literally everywhere.. 😂
THIS, SO THIS!!
Gh
i love it when simon reacts to vids like this
Regarding the paper towel in the lettuce (that's what I do) or spinach, it does work. It won't make it last for 2 weeks, but it does last longer than just in the bag. :)
Yeah we’ve always done that I thought it was a normal thing everyone did 😅 guess not
ooo! does this work with lettuce or other greens?
4:30 that's also how Pc cooling systems work, for exhaust and intake
The tongs to clean blinds and stuff is so underrated
I knew that. The different ways air spins is how tornados are formed. Cold air wraps around warm air in the opposite direction. Forming a tornado
4:39 swear i knew it before. We use to have ceiling fans for days in our house and me and my siblings always use to play with the switch and we found out the air flow differnece is alot
I do the grease hack but with a bowl. If it leaks it is still in the bowl and not down the sink.
1:57 Also if u then click any other of the blank buttons it allows u to highlight and delete sections
7:32 Didn't know about that one but why would you not just pull the entire thing off like a normal person rather than doing it like this and probably eating small bits of the thin plastic membrane?
2:02 bit expressive of opinions Simon 😂
These sticking handles to carry the pepsi are quite good. I carried a small tv with it.
1:36 A Jerky Shooter would work. I use mine for smoked beef sticks. It works like a caulk-gun.👍🏼
Definitely knew about the ceiling fans because my grandma used to make us switch all the fans for her when the seasons changed 😅
so if i live where it’s hot all the time, i leave it which way, counterclockwise ?

@@Torth121 ok that’s a helpful explanation. Thanks
I can't even remember when I knew, just always had. Tho I like cold air, so it's always stays on summer mode. Yes even winter
The paper towel in the salad works
My mum always uses it
4:35 I actually knew that because that is one of the most common thing if u have done any machinery art and craft and also physics .
5:50 Try some Culver’s
1:45 so shocked that Simon didn’t know that looool
I miss those random website things that dude on tiktok did which simon tried
The Spinach one is definitely true
5:28 i use those for bathroom tissue since they never fit in any of my bags
1:51 this one and the one on the thumbnail does nobody use that i always just hold space in
I did know that you can reverse ceiling fans but, the real question is: could you fly a prop plane in reverse?
I'm surprised Simon didn't know the phone one
4:34 that is how propeller planes work
1:55 ngl that seriously going to change my life🤯
06:55 why not just pour it in the food waste trash can thingy
The last one was new to me
Handing the shoes on a hanger, I do understand. When you’ve washed them and want them to dry, putting them on the hanger will help get the water out.
I’ll fully admit I didn’t know that ceiling fans could spin the other way but I thought it was blindingly obvious what the result would be if they did
With the pillows and shoes on the hanger. My parents do something like that but it’s to air dry them after washing/cleaning them
4:59 but ur speakers get blocked and stuff so it is useful
Simon u can also get one number by swiping in the letter e.g t swipe 5
As a dyslexic, I have been using the keyboard one for bare time correcting my often multiple mistakes in messages 😅
4:35 , if you have done A- level physics , you would know that!
i got a next vidoe idea,,,,,, try to win gloria back
A new upload from my favorite TH-camr Miniminter 😊 I love these life hack videos, you learn some useful tips to make daily life easier. 😊
Simon has not been enlightened to the Butter in the Burger
4:35 I’ve already knew it lol. Prob for couple years now
The hanging shoes and pillows thing is probably more to fry them when they’re wet but still seems a tad pointless
4:36 I already knew it😅
I knew the one where when you hold spacebar you can pick which word to edit
4:34😄I already knew that because a lot
of ceilings fans advertise that they do that!
i knew it because i fly a dual engine turboprop lol
I hang my shoes like that when I wash them, they dry faster 😁
1:45 i love how i knew the 'lifehack' one but not the 'normal people' one haha
whats the lifehacker one? like what does it do
Hg
4:26 have you never played gang beast bro?
1:55 simon is officially old
4:20 my mind is blow 😬😬😬
The space slide thingy is so awesome wtf!?!?!?!
How does he not know about the space bar movement thing, I’ve been doing it for years
the candle one you can just turn the candle upside down
Hanging the shoes and pillows is for if they are drying after being washed
I thought the keyboard thing was common knowledge😅😅😂
5:55 simons sounds like an angry Scottish man asking someone to leave his gooch alone 💀
Just because a phone is waterproof, doesn't mean no water goes inside
1:50 oh dear. This has been a thing forever lol
Would love to see a talia Tuesday for tiktok life hacks
I’ve known about the spacebar thing for years, but I didn’t know about the drawing thing. 🤯
The drawing thing doesn't work for me. What's he using?

I could see calfreezy hanging his shoes like that 😂

the last one i had no idea about and was way too excited about lmao
Baiting people into commenting by insulting them. Simon is on different levels. 🤣🤣
Those target straps are legit. People carry game consoles out with those things.
Oh and the oil one, just keep an old butter tub, poor it into that. Easy
The space bar thing is good.
Ik the phone one ages ago
Same I use that in my iPad since ages
why is he so dramatically british at 5:53 ? lool
HowToCookThat checks these food hacks and will tell you with scientific facts which hacks work and which don’t
7:43 she was super omega cringe
There’s no shot you actually thought that either way the fans spin it blows air the same way
Did know almost all of them 😅, i always have to take my break at work alone so I watch this kind of stuff all the time 😂
No way you don’t know about this 1:58 !!!!
How would you know about this?! And if anyone is wondering, works for Android too
@@emilyclarke9834 By using my phone obviously
if you love the sidemen i have some content for you!

I felt so happy that i know the one where u hold the space bar on the phone!!
Hanging the shoes up to dry after washing them, pretty normal 😂😂
Simon :- Don't you dare say you already knew this already
yes we did

Love you Simon 💜
all the hangar ones were for drying simon lmao
you tool the hanger one for hanging shoes and pillows is to dry them hahaha
Scrape the grease into the trash, then recycle the tin foil. Aluminum is recyclable
still waiting for the shopkeeper simulator
I did the lifehack on the keyboard and omg that was too good
I will be hated but the space bar on mobile keyboard also works for 'andriod'
When a life hack video is actually useful…
How did you not know the one with the space bar
Before this video my life was THIS and now it's THAT
8:14 This woman's googly eyes are making me uncomfortable.
The car door hack was earlier a year ago

how have you not known the iphone lifehack??? ive been doing that since like iphone 6
I thought everyone knew the phone spacebar one
the iphone space bar trick has been in android for ages now lol
