Watched the video yesterday and was over the moon to see it on this month’s Giveaway. Love the idea of stepping up to this beautiful machine with all the bells and whistles.
I watched this video a few days ago of the Bezzera Sole. This a great machine has every option on it that is needed. It is a step up from the Bezzera Aria which I really like a lot also.
Just ordered this in black - due from Italy end of October . Can’t wait to make first coffee. I had a Sage twin boiler previously but it died a few years ago and now decided to invest in a proper machine for the long term. I’ve also considered ECM, profitec and Rocket h/x but this new Sole looks perfect for me ☕️
I bought an Aria last October, don't use the flow control, It is good machine and if you want to plumb it directly make sure you ask for the fitting that goes into the USA sized valve as the supply tube is metric. WLL should have the correct fitting but you need to buy it.
Hello, I was looking up the rotary pump info on your website because I wanted to know if this is the same rotary pump that is in the Aria or a different rotary pump? I also noticed your site say's it's a vibration pump, so that will need to be updated.
@@gigi9467my grinder isn’t very consistent, flow control does help me adjust during shots. Especially since I change beans often and I tweak every shot a bit
Hi Mark, thanks for sharing your experience. It can help save a shot! Also very useful when working with fresh from roast coffee. A very low flow start to a shot helps reduce the typically bright flavors. Marc
Hi jt, Both are wonderful machines. The Mechanika Max has a lot more going on feature wise with programmable pre-infusion and more. For more, here's my full video on the Max: th-cam.com/video/UfEysGSVEd8/w-d-xo.html Marc
Lovely looking and the feet design is great, but I just don't get it. This is basically just an Aria with the pressure dials in a different location and larger tank. Has Bezzera increased the size of the drip tray and a small water tank which they have upgraded on this machine. Oh and let's not forget that the hot water spout is too close to the machine and group head lever of the Aria, but these are just my humble opinions on using my Aria.
Hi E, thanks for sharing your thoughts and opinions. Sole has a very different boiler design than the Aria with HX in a horizontal position. Aria designed as a compact machine. Sole, not so much. Marc
It's a beautiful machine but I'm Still rocking my old Pro 700 profitec but I'll tell you it's great seeing you and Todd making videos together again I absolutely love your videos when you guys are together my machine seems to be a little louder than what it used to when I first bought it I've owned it two years now is there anything I can do to adjust it internally
Hi mjm, thanks for the comment - love working with Todd! 700 is an excellent machine and the Synchronika is everything the 700 is with a little more finishing detail. For 700 noise, first the super easy and often overlooked. Be sure the wing nut bolt is removed from the underside of the machine. It holds the motor down during shipping and will cause more noise if left in place. Beyond that, sometimes internal pipes/components can shift in shipping or use. Here's a video showing how to track down and correct internal noises: th-cam.com/video/xFGnOuRqmq8/w-d-xo.html Hope that helps! Marc
13:58 I am always glad to see those familiar faces, Mark.
You and your team are doing a great job.
Hey kats, thanks for the comment - More Todd coming in my next video!

Hey TJ, thanks for sharing details of your journey to the Sole!

Thanks Marc - I’m in UK so not able to order from you , but your video ‘sold ‘ me the Sole , thanks for the great review and all your content

Looks so cool !
Pls teach me how to calibrate the coffee grinder 😊
That pump motor is unique. Is it a DC motor or just a very compact AC?

beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Why do the pressure relieve valves on the bezzera machines spurt like that? My Bezzera crema is the same
Between the Sole and The Aria, both with flow control added, which one do you prefer?
Flow control is a gimmick

@@MarkWebbPhotography i would say get a better grinder there is nothing that makes more of a difference.
Is it NSF certified?
Hi BFP, The Sole does not have NSF cert.
This or the ECM Mechanika Max?

I’ve had issue after issue with my Bezzera Duo. I’m kinda turned off by them at this point.
