Their vocals aren’t jokes essentially winter and ningning and as y’all said the lyrics are chefs kiss 💋 and for me this is a total different sound

Yes! Time After Time is insanely good! A good one to watch along with it is Priority which has Winter (Aespa) , Taeyeon (Girls Generation), and Max Changmin (TVXQ) .
This song and video remind me of Red Velvet. The SM is strong with this one.

This 3rd mini album is titled "MY World" so this era seems to showcase more of aespa's vulnerable/human side. Their other title songs lead up to this return to the real world and give more of a cyber/fantasy/fight type of feel related more to their ae/avatar lore. Though the girls do sing songs of various genre since the beginning which makes the B-sides and cover songs fun to listen to. Leading up to the next title track "Spicy" MV on May 8 there will be 2 more track videos released apart from "I'm Unhappy". Hope you can check those out when they drop as well. The girls b-sides, as you have liked so far, are really good too.
aespa have wide vocal ranges. They sing almost all kind of music genre. The best things from them are their adlib, high note, and vocals harmony.

I think the concept now is moving to the real world from the hyper/virtual world. So we can expect more of these types of songs unlike their previous hits. They might be focusing more on their real stories.

SM finally treating aespa like a girl group instead of models for 3d graphics. We haven't even seen the extent of their talent. Winter and Ning Ning have world class vocals - world class.

I feel like this is a new sound from what I know or aespa. It sounds really good. I like their old sound as well but it is VERY different. It's much more... Noisy? Reminds me of Stray Kids where it's noisy but musical.

From the older tracks, if you like the R&B-tinged sound of I’m Unhappy, I’d definitely recommend Lucid Dream (from their Savage album) and Illusion (from their Girls album).
My personal favorite is I’ll Make You Cry, but it is a bit abrasive for a lot of people lol. It’s industrial, aggressive and metallic (although the bridge is a sweet soft section).
“There’s no way you’re real” is something I say every time I see my bias, Karina. All of them are incredible, though. 😊🎧

This is a new sound for them but also very on brand for them.
aespa just have a versatile discography but they were mostly known for futuristic sound.
I believe the official timeline for their storyline is:

Illusion is a B-side that ties into their lore, but falls somewhere between the Savage and Girls MVs. Their non-storyline MVs are worth checking out as well (Life's too Short, Forever and Dreams Come True, which is a remake of a second generation Kpop song).
Unhappy isn't really similar to most of Aespa's other music, but their B-sides are usually pretty different than their title tracks.
aespa have a bunch of versatility so you guys are definitely in for a treat 🔥

aespa is 4th generation kpop girl group but their talent is insane. Not to mention acting in this video. One thing i never regret stanning aespa is they're all-round position and tbh they made good music with unique concept that other girl group never ever done.

aespa is a lore-centric group they don't change their concept but their lore landscape changes which makes their sound change accordingly. You'll most likely not find the same sound during their Season 1 (Black Mamba) but you'll feel the same aespa vibe. MY World this is the beginning of their Season 2 for their lore.

Without spoiling much... This is the second stage of Aespa. Welcome to MY World is a new beginning and it's slightly different from their previous concept in that it's the Real World and its dangers as opposed to the Virtual World and its dangers (which was the key point of their origin). The "unsettling" feeling is all over their music though.

The cinematic feel and Vibe is def new. Their previous music and videos is more in your face. But I have a feeling they’re venturing to this more peeled back look because they’re in the real world now instead of in Kwangya. It’s lore, you’ll have to catch up.

Just a little bit background. aespa received so many hate comments right after they debuted (without reason). Their movie EP2 also mentioned that. I guess this song is also about the hatefulness they received. They are not alone, but feel lonely…😢

I’m so Happy 😂 seeing people enjoy aespa, like me as a MY is such an adventure like everytime they drop something it’s like I’m in a different world, at the same time thet do tackle real issues about the REAL WORLD so yeah it’s literally a rollercoaster of emotions with them.
I honestly am really into this song. There is depth here and it's a great departure from their previous work. I'm excited to see what comes next.

I will say if u have only heard these 2 songs it doesn’t fullllly embody their vibe like they’re definitely more noisey in the bast way possible but this is a fresh direction for them
This is the season 2 of their lore which is why they are going with this new sound, the season 1 which had them defeating the black mamba has music which is more experimental and on the sci fi side which is why their music is extremely unique and not necessarily enjoyed by all (personally i love them so much especially savage!)
Their past music might throw you off a bit when you listen to it first especially after these calming and more toned down songs but i promise you that they all aged like fine wine and get better with each listen!
