      LarryH people get too caught up in thinking stages are “artificial.” But the fact of the matter is that it leads to more exciting battles on the track. That’s simply undisputed.

    • @lagh84
      @lagh84 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am sure the vast majority of fans agree 100% with you. Never considered anything "artificial" Racers are Racers, nothing fake there. I guess I am part of the smaller fan base that part of the reason NASCAR has suffered soft ticket sales.

      Before stages you would have drives follow the leader for 450 miles than actually race for the last few

    I agree with David Regan why would I go to back of field for 5 laps to go just for someone else I've got as much of winning Coke 600 then you & Regan has finished well @ Charlotte.

    So 3 stages with 6+ laps of caution after each almost guaranteed, plus taking forever after a spin in pit lane to restart the race just adds to the boring factor. No clean up was required! 2-3 laps max should have been all that was required.
    Almost as bad as the Indy 500 yesterday with stopping the race with 20 laps to go for 18 minutes then running 7 laps under caution so as to get the lap cars moved to the back of the pack. WTF were the officials doing for 18 minutes under the red flag? One person could have walked to each lapped car, told them to stay back and where their position was in the field. No round and round and round under caution for another 15 minutes.
    Fortunately both races had a better and more exciting finish than the 4 car follow the leader F1 race.

    And they still wonder why we are not tuning in. I stopped watching when a foreign manufacturer was allowed to enter an AMERICAN Race Series. The Indy 500 was more interesting, along with all the other road racing series, which take way more skill. Sorry, but, when we have 10 laps to go in a race and there is an accident....laps have to stop counting. This crap of waiting until there are two laps left to restart is BS...another reason some quit watching. You dictate the winner by waiting for the final two laps to restart.

    • @nedflora1154

      I think any of the top few could have won. Indy had a red flag with just a few to go. I've been a fan since I watched Petty win in front of Pres Reagan in 1980 something. I quit paying for TV mostly because of the mile and a half tracks were so boring to watch. If Nascar keeps doing what they are on the airo package it's getting better
