I think it would be a good thing if you had an interview with Melissa Walker who works for The States Project. People are worried about the threats against democracy, and want to help, but don't know how. I heard Melissa being interviewed both by PoliticsGirl and Molly Jong Fast, in their respective podcasts. People need to know more about The States Project, and it's urgent!
I truly feel that they , all of them should loose their license permanently. Those that hold an elected position should also be held accountable for their acts as well . No slap on hands or a low jail time, that would definitely insult the integrity and intelligence of the rest of us law bidding Americans . 💙

During sentencing, judges must consider the remorse of the convicted person. Unfortunately they usually go by the words/drama performance and not take their overall behavior into account.
I think it would be instructive for some history on the evolution of the Republican party since Kevin Phillips book, The Emerging Republican Majority, The Powell memo, and tie in Reagan's famous nine words "I'm with the government and I'm here to help". Which I believe can give an explanation why so many Trump supporters hate the government while supporting the group that made them hate the government, and everything.

The fact she got 3 year suspension on her license instead of disbarrment and 3 years in prison is why the Republicans will try again in 2024; this time they don't need that ham handed mob, they will do it all with their election deniers holding public office and in the election system itself.
Ellis' corrupt criminality also reflects adversely ON THE LEGAL PROFESSION -- but I guess that's being dodged by the profession in its effort to pretend that her conduct isn't a "tolerated" norm.

State not Federal Jurisdiction and they are not even CLOSE to the same in every State. In some States, they are denied that right for life, in both Maine and Vermont, a convicted Felon serving a Life sentence with ZERO chance of Parole, does NOT lose their Constitutional right to vote.
