- Plan B is NOT an abortion pill and DOES NOT reverse pregnancy IF fertilization has already taken place. Fertilization takes place when the female EGG meets the male SPERM.
In order for fertilization to take place, a woman must first Ovulate.

I took it within two days , however I did get really sick , very irritated, yelling at everything that moved , and basically running around the house like a crazy person ....I did not settle down until 1 o'clock in the morning

This doesn’t work unless you haven’t ovulated. It’s basically progesterone- which is a hormone that comes in the second part of your cycle AFTER you’ve ovulated. If you’ve already ovulated, this pill won’t work. A typical cycle for a woman is 23-30 days you’ll ovulate in between.
A lot of people, including medical professionals, say it interferes with implantation, does it?
I took the pill 3 days after i slept with my boyfriend. The next day i had a slight headache but two days later omg i was in sooooooo much pain perlvic pain i couldnt do nothing even the next day which is today im still hurting never tsking this again and this was my first time. I felt like i wanted to call emergency because i almost fell out body temperature rise up sooot.
I took plan b for the first time last week. Last night, I went to the emergency room because the pelvic pain was intense. I'm never taking a plan b again.

@@TammyJ7628 side effects started Saturday those really bad pelvic pain and ended Monday.

@@Practitionher Ok, some sources say not to take it more than once in one menstrual cycle, other sources like planned parenthood say that you can take as many times necessary, with this being said… my gf took 3 of them in one week (i know big mistake and will never do it again) however does this affect the chances of getting pregnant? Again some sources say it does, others say no.

@@karislzrmy gf took 3 in a cycle and it delayed her period for over a month. that was the first and last time we took plan Bs and she went on to start birth control

@practionher.. taking plan B, 2 days before ovulation (tracking with app and test strips), but ovulation didn't delay. Does plan B always delay ovulation? Have you seen where it didn't and there was no pregnancy?

Who knows what each and every leader wants. Maybe Junta only doesn't like plan B being sold in grade schools and in colleges to go along with birth control ads earlier all of the time in places of education now too. Who needs that kind of supply chain anyway?

I ended up having my period and my ovulation day switched from the 25th to the 27th, which is what the pill is meant to do. I got my period three days late from when it was expect, a very heavy flow. After that I got my period again this month the day it was expect with a normal flow. I guess if taken as instructed *BEFORE OVULATION HAPPENS OR HAS HAPPENED* then the chances of it working are high.

With the dates being so close , you are risking the chance to fall pregnant .
Unless you are tracking ovulation with your basal body temperatures, ovulation will be an estimate . We don’t want to play that guessing game if that makes sense

protected sex during ovulation unprotected sex maybe a week after ovulation but she took a plan b maybe 10 hours later still no period 2 almost 3 weeks later

Great question and each woman is different but it is not uncommon to bleed after taking plan b , especially If you are close to your expected menstrual period

Unprotected sex during period is not nasty . To each its own .
But generally, you don’t get pregnant if having unprotected sex during a period (bleeding) . But not 100% . There’s reasons for this .
Doesn’t prevent STDs however . Always practice safe sex

Condoms break. That’s why they made emergency contraception. Or sometimes guys pull the condom off and don’t tell you.

With ovulation so close to unprotected sex I would say you are at risk . Mainly because ovulation tracking is an estimate unless you are checking basal body temps. We’re you able to take the plan B ?
If not, make a call to your practitioner and discuss your dates and options
