Happy New Year 2025 Welcome to Rock Artist Reaction !! Artist Name: Moksha Country - Chennai, India Genres: Classic Rock / 80s Rock / Hard Rock / Heavy Metal Years Active: 1995 - 2006 🎸 Remembering Moksha: The Legendary Chennai Rock Band 🎶 In November 1995, a small coffee shop in Chennai became the birthplace of Moksha, a band that would forever change the Indian rock scene. With Leon on vocals, Christy and Allen on guitars, and Ranjith on drums, Moksha’s hard rock and heavy metal sound struck a chord with fans across India, shaking a city and a nation into a new era of rock.🔥 Their music wasn’t just loud-it was raw, powerful, and a wake-up call to a dormant scene. Moksha’s influence spread far beyond Chennai, and in 2006, they made history as the only Asian band featured on the Iron Maiden Tribute Album. Tragically, later that year, the world lost their beloved frontman Leon to asthma, a blow that left a void in the rock community. 💔 Even Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson paid tribute to Leon when the band visited India in 2007, a testament to the respect Moksha earned worldwide. Though Moksha’s journey ended with Leon’s untimely passing, their legacy lives on, etched in every note, every riff, and every fan who experienced their unforgettable music. Moksha’s impact on Indian rock is undeniable, and their memory will forever rock our hearts. 🎤🤘 Check The Band Here: Stream & Social Media - Official Website: www.mokshaonline.com/index.html Official Song Links: www.mokshaonline.com/music.html Unofficial TH-cam: th-cam.com/video/TRaarYeMzMA/w-d-xo.html Much Love, Addie #AddieReacts #Moksha #RockLegends #ChennaiRock #IndianMetal #InMemoryOfLeon #BruceDickinson #HardRock #HeavyMetal
so many great bands in India but due to b-wood market, the talented musicians are kinda left behind recognition wise. this song so beautiful, especially the epic solo. inspires me to dig deep into indian band music.
@@PritomAhad I think this is where the BD bands of the 70s, 80s, and 90s are still widely recognised and celebrated as great musicians by fans which is a great thing unlike the thing here !! 🙂
@ yes, especially i feel bad for many metal bands of india cuz even our powersurge band members said in a podcast that indian metal scene is really good but bollywood takes over. No hate to bollywood, but maybe indian people need to start looking outside bollywood.
