Welcome back Lou! Cool video Brother! You know I love my 22 caliber air rifles. Awesome variety of pellets and energy down range. Plus the 22 caliber is available in 3 of the 4 air rifle formats; pumpers, gas ram or spring powered, and PCP. You 177 shooters can have all the Co2 fun because it's way to cold here for 6 month of the year and they are loud for the speeds they shoot. Looking forward to the Gamo Vapor 10x. I hope Gamo produces it in 22 caliber?
Thank you brother it's good to be back I hope to get more content out soon my buddy is healing up and should be okay in the next couple weeks that way I can get some better down range shooting appreciate all the support as always stay safe my friend and happy shooting
Fan friggin tastic video homie. I agree, both are great calibers and they each have their applications. Great visual representation of the energy difference. Have a great week homie.
@@FirstStateAirgun thank you for going through the effort to make it commie tube compliant. You are a more patient man than me, and the community appreciates it!
Hey Amigo a few things first good to see you ! Next i'm calling the parts shop and telling them what youre doing with there catalogs lol Next Notos for the WIN !! 👍😏 And last WTH no timmys ???? Lol lol
Hi Lou, cool video. I agree 100% with your comments, you need to have both. I generally say, for target work go 177 and for hunting 22, for me that seems to work out
Thanks brother I actually responded to you a couple of days ago but TH-cam didn't let it go through appreciate all the support stay safe and happy shooting love what you're doing
Hey Lou, Thanks again for another great video. Personally, I agree with you that the application dictates the caliber, but for a different reason. I don't plink much anymore except to check my zeros or shoot with my kids. And I prefer to hunt small game with .177 and not to do too much damage to the meat, and I prefer to take head shots. But if I am pesting, I prefer .22 and go for a head shot or a body shot but only if I don't have to worry about if the rat or mouse will die in doors. If there are farm cats or crows nearby, then they usually will clean up the next day. Also, regardless of caliber, I try to keep my shots within 25 tp 30 yards. At my age, 54, my sight is going. And I don't like to go walking or digging after gottaways. Hope you and your loved ones are all happy and well. Stay Safe. Be Well. GOD BLESS.
I don't do too much hunting or anything like that some small pesting with starlings most of my shots are 25 yards or less heck I barely shoot at 50 yards target practice... Thank you as always for all the support you stay safe out there brother and happy shooting
I was expecting more penetration with the .177 and more damage from the .22 especially with ththe .177 being a bit faster! Pretty interesting test brother
Gotta have both, I like each for different reasons.

That's exactly what I was thinking I was thinking the faster and lighter pellet would have penetrated further!!
