- Bunch of mustard seeds filmed growing into mustard plants at 10000x speed. This was filmed for 12 days, non-stop. Subscribe for more timelapse videos!
This timelapse was a little sad because I had to go out of town for Christmas. Right before leaving I watered the mustard plants to the point that its soil was soaked. I thought that would be enough for a few days. But when I came back I was heartbroken to see my plants dry. All the mustard plants that grew in that container suffered severe case of dehydration and were beyond recovery. Growing mustard plants from seeds is easy, but it needs consistent care. I need to figure out how to automate my irrigation technique so this does not happen again! Stay tuned :)
What should I plant and film next?

It was making me smile continuously but as they fell down my heart was started sad and crying 😭😭
You should water them 😢😢
😥 It was an accident
@@rapidlapse 🥺🥺 😢😢😢

@@rapidlapse I hate accidents 😢
It not makes me smile😭
Why did you stop watering.. Why did they fell off ? They grow big and produce flowers and seeds
I had to go out of town. I put a lot of water before I left. Unfortunately by the time I returned few days later they were parched. Gave them water but they were long gone. I will keep automated water dispenser next time.
@@rapidlapse ohh.. Thanks for the reply😊🙏
Wow they grow fast
never cried because of a plant before. thanks youtube 😂
😅
Seeing the roots go deeper and deeper is so surreal 😢
Never thought the death of anything can be so beautiful.
I am growing the same at school 😊😊😊

Hello! I need some help. I am currently growing mustard greens but they are very tall and leggy. What am I doing wrong?
@@royalacity I am not sure. Maybe the light is not enough.
@@royalacity I know Im late, but I had a similar issue to when I was growing radishes for the first time. When it’s getting long and spindly, it’s something called Etiolation, which is when the plants aren’t getting enough sunlight or the source of light isnt close to them enough (like a grow light for example) your plants start use more of their energy towards stretching up higher to reach more sun, than to actual develop the steam and leaves. Luckily enough leggy plants are easy to fix, bury the elongated stem back into the dirt and either pick a better area for sun or make sure your grow light is closer
@@Princess.Shay8 Thank you!
so good
Amazing content! Keep it up ❤
Thanks 🤗

just wondering....why its die after 11 days?
I had to go out of town for Christmas and there was nobody to water them. Although I had pre-watered before leaving, it turns out that wasn’t enough. 😬
@@rapidlapse ow.. i was curious to what it would look like 🤣😅
Need sunlight?
Wouldn't they die on lack of root space?
@@hololiveenjoyer5655 no they just stunt
They died because you didn't separate them to the bigger pot 😭
😥
Bravoo!!!👏
Hi! Love this! Was there a particular brand of seeds used here? Also, what kind of soil do you use?
This was peat moss mixed with garden soil.
Will they produce flowers in a small vessel like that if you water them regularly?
wow great job
Thank you!
What device do you use for work? Please make a behind the scenes video, thank you!
Nice content 👍
Hope they won't fell .. good luck
How beautiful ❤️🙆🙆🙆🙆🌹🌹🌹
Can you eat the leaves on the mature plant?
Yes, the leaves can be used for flavor in food. A fully mature plant’s leaf will have bitter taste so it’s better to harvest leaves when it is still growing.
We in India eat the leaves of mustard plants.
Yes, in Pakistan leaves are chopped & cooked with other leaves as well.
Then spice it up to taste.
When cooked, it's called saag , loved in winters, this is the season to eat it 🙂. With corn meal Roti & butter on top !
@@sambas8736 In Indian subcontinent actually. When you guys separated, you inherited the the dish. 'sarso da saag, te makke di roti'. It's eaten since ancient times in Punjab.
@@axomfitnessbuddy6741 yup. I hate those ppl when they says "this is pakistani food. This is bangladeshi food".
NO. IT'S ALL INDIAN FOOD. BUT I TALK ABOUT YOUR ETHNIC GROUP. INDIAN. India subcontinent culture.
Just one will do💯😉🥰🙏🏾
I planted over 100 seeds 😊
Did you soak the seeds before planting? Is soaking overnight needed?
In this case, no. Soaking overnight would definitely speed up the process so you can try that.
Whyyyyyyyy did they die?😢😢😢 it’s he most emotional thing I’ve ever seen bruh. YOURE THE OWNER TELL US WHYYYY
Sorry. I’ve replied in some of the comments earlier. I had to go out of town and there was nobody to water my plants. Even though I added plenty of water before leaving, it was not enough. They were parched when I returned. I added water to revive them but they were gone. 🥹
👍👍👍
This happend to me to
Did the Mustered seed will not come from plants or we should wait for it to come plz answer I have project plz
It comes from this plant but you will have to wait longer.
@@rapidlapse thank u very much 💓
Nice
Thanks!
Some of the leaves weren't exposed to the air or the sunlight under the taller ones, which is why they started to wilt. Perhaps the roots needed a much larger area to spread out. I mean, this is to be expected when you are literally planting too many seeds together in one box. 🥺
The idea was to harvest mustard greens and for that the space was good enough. However, I had to go out of town for a few days and the water I left was not enough. By the time I returned they were gone. I tried to revive by adding water but it didn’t work out. 🥲

Que pena que solo duren 10 días.Tan bellas plantitas😪
No duran solo 10 días, crecen hasta sacar una flor y cuando se secan sale la semilla. La mostaza crece como un arbusto, aquí solo olvidaron darles agüita 🥺
@@damnstuffdoodle Gracias por el dato👍
Omg you killed Hundreds of those? Call 911 😮😭😭😤🤣👍
Así se ponen cuando están pidiendo agüita 💧💧💧💧
🥰
Tbm, não regou os coitado.😢
This is totally wrong i have been growing mustards in my home since two to three week ago
And there condition is very good
They died because of lack of water. Unfortunately I had to go outside town for a few days. Even though I gave it enough water before leaving, apparently it wasn’t enough 🥲
How to water them ??
Water them every other day just enough to keep its soil moist. Do not water more than that.
Why didn't you cut the tops and eat them as microgreens?
Why did they all die at the same time ?
What happened between day 10 and 11? Is their a reason they drop so quickly?
They ran out of water :(
@@rapidlapse oh no! ☹
So sad..😢😢
Observe everyday point please make a video on notes 🙏
you can do it too!! lol .. why do you need a video for that?
Why it died
Lack of water. It dried up.
Rau mầm dinh dưỡng
please can u tell me the type of the ground
It is peat moss mixed with garden soil
How much do they grow in a single day😮
These grow very fast when they are young
it is so soothing to eyes but why did they die?
يحتاجون الري مجددا
Lack of water because unfortunately I had to go out of town while it was growing/filming.
We Need Mustred seed for india
😃😃😃🫢😲🥺
Rip 😭
What growth light do you use ?
It’s just LED lights. It has the wavelength required by plants for growth so it works for me. Usually the plant led lights are pink/red in color.
Не смогла досмотреть- музыка словно по мозгам бъёт! Очень громкая и раздражающая.
🥹 I will pick better music next time
❤❤❤🙏👏👏👏👏
Why they die
If this can tolerate heat this should replace grass
It grows in the summer so it can definitely tolerate heat but grass is highly resilient and recovers quickly from damages or change in atmosphere.
why did they die?
Lack of water. I had to go out of town and there was nobody to water it for 2 days. 🥹
What if they kept in sunlight
It would be the same. They died due to lack of water. Light was always there.
@@rapidlapse thanks
Are you from India ?
USA
😂😅😊❤🎉
Where are the mustard seeds
They were sprinkled at the beginning of the video.
is this true
