It all depends on the skill level, atomic and crusader give MOVEMENT perks so if youre not that good then those are good.
Deathbringer and armadillo and all the other boosts give GAMEPLAY perks. Now you may ask why deathbringer isnt a movement perk. Well, even if youre the best player, you cant move that far in small places. So for FoeKid its Deathbringer, Armadillo and Watercarrier.

Im sry, but how turning radius works?
you know that your snake can turn 360 degree right. so it looks like a circle when you turn full. lets just say the size of the circle is 100 cm (Example) round. If i reduce 10 cm then the size of the circle will reduce to 90 cm which is smaller than before. Now if i have deathbringer max then it will reduce 100 cm circle to 75 cm circle.
so what is the benefit of Deathbringer?
1) you can dodge easily if any snake comes vertically towards you.
2) If two snakes try to squeeze you then you can turn in a small gap
and escape.
3) you can easily pass through zigzag corners.
DRAWBACK ----- Although it is very helpful for escaping and sudden smacking a snake in face But using with speedpet you can feel a little bit sensitive in controlling your mouse

But did the speed pet users stopped using max speed pets? No.
