I've never actually heard this parody before. The music is actually really pleasant to listen to, what? maybe I'm too used to satirical parodies which are great in their own right haha. The video itself is nostalgic, I started playing in 2011-12 which is when this came out and back then I mostly played solo as Steve (on a shared account with my brother might I add). I didn't realize the parodies went this far back into the past, the furthest ones I can think of were 9 years ago. It's really cool to see people enjoying and making content for the game back then like I want to do now, too bad this guy doesn't post anymore

Story time.
When I was in fifth grade, minecraft parodies were everywhere, and of course at that time I played minecraft religiously. Well, this was the very beginning of middle school, so our teacher wanted to do a little project of our favorite things: color, food, movie, book, hobby, board game, fun fact about yourself, etc. Among those was our favorite song. So since being the little minecraft fiend I was, I knew minecraft parodies, "who let the dogs out" and some 60s-70s stuff my parents listened to. I was kind of embarrassed to say any of those. So for whatever reason, out of all of the minecraft parodies in existence, I chose this song. Everyone laughed, but hey, that was fifth grade. I laugh about it now.
I'm in high school now and I finally got back into minecraft after several attempts. I listen to parodies while playing, because the MC music, while good is a little too solemn and nostalgic. Happened upon this song and it triggered the memory.
Minecraft is fun at any age. Don't be afraid to play it again.
