After following your adventures for a long time, I finally had the urge and time to do indigo dying for the first time. (I used a kit, but it's a start.) First time out, I thought it smart to keep it simple and see if I enjoyed the process. So, it was a straightforward dying of new white socks and briefs. Worked like a charm. ❤️ But, there's more! About mistakes - they are very useful, of course. I watched your tips and saw one beginner's error which appealed to me. I *deliberately* didn't do a good pre-soak in water and wrang too much water out. I was hoping for irregular patches of white and result which looked like a blue sky with clouds. It worked. I now have a robe which looks like a blue sky and scattered clouds. ☁️ Best wishes from Vermont 🍁
🙂Hello Katherine, a question, do you know someone from Costa Rica? I see a flag of the United States and Costa Rica behind you while you explain your work... (6:40)
@@OnyxArtStudios🙂 I love your country too. I have two cousins and they are married to Americans, one lives in New York and the other in New Jersey.🧡 It's curious and great, at least you and I are friends on both Facebook and You Tube. See you later have a good night.🌠

I’m glad you tried it out. I like to play with wet dipping and dry dipping too.
Good fix!
Thank you!
