The mix of food is just stuff that they tend to have at these types of road side restaurants. Just random stuff that's easy to cook up on a grill, and usually processed and/or frozen. Got a little scared when you didn't know what Moomin was, and then proceeded to ask if they were hippos! x'D Moomin are literally Moomin Trolls. That is their species. The Moomins and their author Tove Jansson is like a national treasure of Finland that everyone knows about, and even us Swedes grew up with. The books were serialized as an Anime in Japan, and translated to a bunch of languages, one of them English. :)
As an American of Finnish ancestry, it's been cool seeing your videos of my grandma's homeland. I went there in 2016 and it's such a beautiful country. Stoked to see more!
The Moomins (Swedish: mumintrollen) are the central characters in a series of novels, short stories, picture books, and a comic strip by Finnish writer and illustrator Tove Jansson, originally published in Swedish by Schildts[2] in Finland. They are a family of white, round fairy-tale characters with large snouts that make them resemble the hippopotamus. However, despite this resemblance, the Moomin family are trolls. The family live in their house in Moominvalley.
That one looked a bit daunting, but as usual, you destroyed both plates in quick fashion!!! I've heard the Finn's are a nice people, and this video proves it out!! Thanks Beard!!
Great video as always Beard. Love Finland but don’t know how you could have missed the Moomins- they got stuff literally everywhere! I thought they were cows not hippos but apparently they are just a type of troll.

It's crazy how easy you make these challenges look. At no point does it look like you are struggling in any of your videos. You are a human marvel, sir.
unless I'm eating pancakes lol

Not only another great Clip, but watching these takes me to places I'll never see. Thanks. 😎
Fins, and scandinavians in general are so lovely! Been up there for vacation a couple of times and loved the conversations every time!
I've not met anyone from Finland in my 59 years but in the last few years, I've become fascinated by Finnish culture. Especially the music. It looks like they're pretty good cooks too.
i could live there...were it not for the sub zero temperatures in winter...beautiful country, beautiful people
@@Beardmeatsfood it's not that cold here. our record is from 1999 and it was only -51.5 celcius.
@@n4rttu"only"
Man you know, i saw snow once. Many years ago
You talking about -51.5😂😂😂
(For the record i know you are joking)
@@n4rttu Pretty sure that's Finnish humor, but we've actually got you beat in the US. -62.2. celcius. -56.7 if you don't want to count Alaska.
And then there's Yakukst (sp?), Russia - -73C or something like that. BRR!@@janso7979
Being from the states I'm loving this new European food challenge series!
glad to hear it!
Gotta say going through a bad break up,this guys content always adds a smile through the sadness.
Are you doing better now?
Loving the finish series of videos so refreshing man and everyone so respectful and nice definitely making me want to visit, keep doing you beard!
thanks mate :)
Great too see new beard challenges.watched repeat after repeat over the years & as much fun as they are,but it's the surprise on staff & customers that's the best.15 patties in 30 mins-can I try 20?could be finished in under 10 but had crowd banter. "He's a hungry boy"😁🤗
Greetings from Finland. Not only you managed to do the challenge in record time, it did not even look that hard at all. That is quite something for a guy that could walk in to a local Dressmann and buy a slim-fit suit and walk out wearing that. Jesse could not do that by the way haha lol.
Always the best competitive eating channel to watch. It's so positive and positive that I can't get enough. Keep up the great work beard 👍🏽 love the content
i am honoured mate :)
Loving the European challenges ,cool to see the different places
thanks mate :)
Do all the Scandinavian countries! I have friends in Norway, Denmark and Sweden who would happily show you some good places to do challenges! Love the little switch up mate! Giving him that stack of cups at the end tickled me 😂😂😂
Can't get enough of these vids ! Always on the hunt for a fresh beard vid... never seen anyone violate challenges like you.. keep slaying
thanks mate :)
Beard has a very adventurous palate! These Finland challenges have been interesting, it’s cool to see what they like to eat over there. I’d love to visit someday, it would be cool to take the sleeper train to Rovaniemi and see the northern lights!
The cups was the most random part of the video and the food mix was already random 😂
Glad you’re visiting other countries and beating their challenges
The mix of food is just stuff that they tend to have at these types of road side restaurants. Just random stuff that's easy to cook up on a grill, and usually processed and/or frozen. Maybe not the top culinary experience but there's not that many places to choose from on the road so beggars can't be choosers.
Your translator buddy is almost hilariously gigantic! Watching him use that tiny little spoon made me laugh so hard🤣
He's a competitive eater too. 😂
@@turpasauna no way, makes much more sense listening to their banter! He must find it so hard not to do the challenge side by side lol
@@ItsMeBatmanlol @JesseEats is his channel! He's also one of Finland's strongest men and has won several grip strength world championship titles, among other accolades!
AAaaaand grip strenght world champion in 2017, 2019 and 2021. 2020 placed second in the Finland's strongest man competition.
@@rystymaija5650I was bout to say dudes arms are huge
you two have great energy together, good vibes
So cool to see you doing challenges here in Finland 🤘🏻
I truly do love Finland. It's definitely where I'd move to if I had the chance. Much love from Germany!
Didn’t you guys try that during WW2? 🤣
I'm Canadian, and if I had to choose another cold and dark most of the year country to move to, it would 100% be Finland. Great people, great music, tasty looking food.
@@RogueCylonNot really, Finland was an ally against the Soviet Union
@@Myrtanae by ally, you mean that Finland was invaded by Germany, and after the King and royal family had moved to London, the Germans installed a Nazi government. Also, I guess 19,000 collaborators weren’t jailed after the war? Lol
@@DarkenSeyreth I would definitely not move there for 4 of those reasons, and I live in Sweden
We used to cram food in as fast as possible at my convent boarding school. This was because we couldn't talk until we'd nearly finished and the presiding Nun said "Praise be Jesus Christ". We responded with "Praise for evermore" and babbled away. The amount of food you ingest at speed is truly amazing and would have been very useful at School! Cheers Adam.
Still loving the videos man, ngl didn't even notice how many views you got each video. Happy and suprised to see you still talking to your community in the comments.
i try mate...but the day i stop trying...i might as well retire...wouldn't be here were it not for people actuallyy watching...i'm a lucky man
I love the Finnish, just fun, relaxed and easy going people.
I’m binging on beards old videos 😂😂 so entertaining and I’m on a fast 2 days in lol
Never had a doubt, Beard! I guess they didn't have a dessert menu? Onward to the next one! Finns seem like very nice and courteous people!
Got a little scared when you didn't know what Moomin was, and then proceeded to ask if they were hippos! x'D
Moomin are literally Moomin Trolls. That is their species. The Moomins and their author Tove Jansson is like a national treasure of Finland that everyone knows about, and even us Swedes grew up with. The books were serialized as an Anime in Japan, and translated to a bunch of languages, one of them English. :)
well...now i know eh ;)
That is a spectacular looking double plate of food setup. Bravo to the cooks and bravo to the Beardman for killing it.
Always amazes me how you make a food challenge look like a casual meal.
This was amazing! Now you have to come to Portugal. Food is great and we would love to have you here
Such a polite place, nice crowd. Beard demolishing records without even trying.
As an American of Finnish ancestry, it's been cool seeing your videos of my grandma's homeland. I went there in 2016 and it's such a beautiful country. Stoked to see more!
glad you liked it mate
Jesse is really into it. What a great guy to help you out 🙏
The Moomins (Swedish: mumintrollen) are the central characters in a series of novels, short stories, picture books, and a comic strip by Finnish writer and illustrator Tove Jansson, originally published in Swedish by Schildts[2] in Finland. They are a family of white, round fairy-tale characters with large snouts that make them resemble the hippopotamus. However, despite this resemblance, the Moomin family are trolls. The family live in their house in Moominvalley.
Food looked delicious and the people were so nice! What a great experience 😊
Well done!
Also, gotta love our weird finnish brothers and sisters (swede here) for just randomly giving away those cups
😂
When I moved to Italy I noticed that Marilyn Monroe's image is all over the place. Now I am POSITIVE that she is remembered and revered EVERYWHERE.
That one looked a bit daunting, but as usual, you destroyed both plates in quick fashion!!! I've heard the Finn's are a nice people, and this video proves it out!! Thanks Beard!!
I still get amazed by every challenge you do, even though iv seen tons! I would have struggled with that 1st plate and the 2nd was TWICE the size! 😂
ah thanks mate :)
Glad seeing you try the local finnish food. Lots of love from finland!!
An extra video from the favourite bearded one? This has completely cheered up my otherwise crappy day 👌
chin up mate...cuddles :)
Aw bless you! That food looked epic, loving these challenges 🫡
Great video as always Beard. Love Finland but don’t know how you could have missed the Moomins- they got stuff literally everywhere! I thought they were cows not hippos but apparently they are just a type of troll.
This was pretty cool my friend.
I like the way you actually taste the food and the looks you give as your doing so. Also, you leave a clean battlefield after you finish everything. Always enjoy your videos.
It would be sick to see you travel to more foreign challenges in the future. Love the content as always
you've got my word mate...sweden and norway coming up in 2024
Guess we’ll have to wait til Sunday to find out if Beard survived!
