BUT after you progress to the shadow keep and progress Moores quests all the forager brood NPCs will disappear and you can't ever get their cookbooks anymore..
I accidently killed the one north of the Cerulean coast grace and then went back and was still able to get the cookbook from it's dead body. So if you accidently killed one like I did you can still go back and get the item. Just throwing that out there for anyone who might have killed one on accident like me lol.
Just get better at the game and learn how to read a map. He also shows you what grace to go to and gives you a path to follow. Literally not that hard to watch and repeat. You wouldn’t even know where they were if you didn’t watch the video so stop whining

definitely sucks if ur getting stuck at the final boss, if u killed moore without grabbing cookbook 4, ur now at a huge disadvantage without those holy pickled livers.
I love FromSoft's work but I'm getting really sick and fucking tired of these obscure repercussions for having the audacity to play the game and follow questlines to their natural conclusions. And now I find out I locked myself out of a Holy-mitigating item right as I'm stuck on a boss that spams Holy magic non-stop. Great... 💀
dried liver is still bugged where it still provides more holy negation then the other livers. Even the new pickled one. Edit: they last for 120 seconds
I went through the quest on first playthrough, talked with Moore about the forager brood, saw kindreds of rot and did what I always did and just killed them, then Moore invades me, so I do research and realize that those were the Foragers that he was talking about. GREAT GAME DESIGN! Anyways I got pissed and used cheat engine to get all the cookbooks. Fuck this vague ass quest.
For anyone wondering, the second one is from the Main Gate Cross site of grace. Its a bit confusing because it says Gravesite Plains when you arrive there, and oh course, thats an actual name of another site of grace. On a side note, why do the foragers remind of the Keepers in Mass Effect?

I ended up getting 5 of the cookbooks, then I broke the seal, went back to Moore and exhausted his dialogue and he gave me the 7th one and disappeared after reloading the area. Finally I got the 6th one after.

@@harshalamin5673Cheat engine, look up how to spawn in items and in order to get them actually listed in the crafting menu you have to unlock the flags that say you have the cookbook in cheat engine.
They all disappear when miquellas great rune breaks so you need to grab them all before going to the shadow keep and be careful going through bonny village since the great rune will also break if you try crossing the bridge over to the forest that leads to where manus metyr is
@@Jason-qy5qg honestly your better off knowing because the great rune breaking happens without even needing to interact with anything just running to close and it also breaks a majority of the npc quests if they aren't at the right point and you can miss out on so much
@@smecherullorento9204 did you talk to moore cause there is 1 that actually requires you to break the great rune to grab (honestly it took me forever to find since i was using no guide) so yeah i was mistaken its not immediately after the great rune break but you have to careful of what answer you give moore

@@kryvexiI think it’s been discovered that after healing the pest behind the church of crusade then going to Moore before you break miqealas seal you can get the cook book 7 meaning you don’t have to go around and collect all the previous 6 before going to shadow keep however this information can’t help you because it’s already too late to get cook book 7 this ng cycle

Can anyone answer a question for me please I had no idea they weren't hostile. I hit the one west of where you start the DLC, on the raised bit I haven't killed it but I can't interact with it I've spoken to Moore before I hit it and spoken to him afterwards, he's not hostile I've ran all round that area since hitting the kindred and I'm not getting invaded by Moore... Am I in limbo now? Is there anyway of making the kindred rot 'forgive' me (like the absolution statue in DS) or do I just have to kill it now because I can't progress Moore's quest line? Or can I advance his quest line and just not get every cookbook?
I talked to Moore after only having 5 cookbooks and he gave me book 7....Idk how that happened as I still need to get book 6. Thanks this guide helped a lot
The video is wrong on that part. You get cookbook 7 from Moore if you got the cookbook from the Forager Brood you have to heal, as thanks for healing the Forager Brood. You don't need all six of the previous cookbooks.

At the beginning mate. Open the map so people know where they are starting. Lmfao. Otherwise it’s fast forward to map location then going back to where you journey to the location.

You do not need any except for number 4 to get number 7. And actually if you break the seal before talking to Moore and you don't pick the right dialogue option to get the cookbook 7 he will leave forever and you'll miss out on so you should really watch what you say if you're going to put a guide on TH-cam you should know what you're talking about 🤷 Js
I thought this was a small channel based on the guide quality but you have over 100K subscribers please take into consideration showing the map or at least grace name for all of the locations visited.
i killed 1st one didnt know about it being npc 2nd one idk when i killed it but when i went it was died 3rd one i got 4th one i found it not moving so i tried hitting it and so it died fr xD moor got pissed of me and pushed me from the cliff while i was searching on google xD and so 5th,6th and 7th are now gone since i killed moor xD
@alexruiz8279 long as you find 3 of them. To where Moore thanks you your fine. I grabbed all but book 6. Then went and broke the seal after crossing the 2nd bridge at Bonny Village. Then went straight to where the guy with book 6 was. Then went back to Moore. But I believe you only need 3 to do his quest. I just wanted to be sure lol.
You don’t need all 6 to get the 7th.
You just need to heal the one with the warming stone then immediately go back to Moore and talk to him.

I clicked that option as well, he is no longer at the cross of miquella and not where his body is found.

Warming Stone or Sunwarmth Stone should wake it up. Try reloading. Did you perhaps already kill it? Is it moving?

with #4 you can just quit to main menu, dont have to go back to grace
