The interesting thing was that they formed a special group for the occasion, where an indie rocker who use to study Colombian music joined two different famous folk musicians, because it's a matter of blending italian styles with others likewise Angelina did with La Noia.

@@giovannimoriggi5833 No worries. It is curious how many Latin American musical genres are becoming a trend into the Italian musical scene, from cumbia to reggaeton. A similar approach is happening in Spain: in Benidorm Fest for example, a bolero song was about to win the national final very close; it is another proof of that trend that is rising up, at least in the Mediterranean countries. Thanks for sharing! It was an interesting fact to know.
@@beardedeurofan Actually there was a great bolero song in Sanremo 1991, and bolero it’s not from South America, it’s originally from Spain. Of course Spain and Portugal are strongly connected with SA. I think there are many reasons why Europe likes some genres, some are just for the cultural similarities, but also because some fashions became appealing for the USA, which leads many trends. About Italy I can say the country has always been connected with great music from Central and South America, especially Brazil and Argentina, collaborating, taking and also giving with many songs that sometimes are cover versions that nobody knows are from Italy.
