I’m so happy for you buddy, this and their dog alien are easily two of the best Alien piece’s on the market. Wow, that’s another really low edition size, I guess they didn’t get the response they were thinking they were going to get with this re-issue, and at least it looks like Prime1 have changed the packaging of this one too, as the original was awful. One of the many damaged owner’s here that P1 never looked after. Look forward to seeing & hearing your thought’s in the review.
Hey matey - yeah, the fact they never resolved the damage issues with you guys who got the OG one which arrived broken, is really a crappy move by P1 & I have to say, kinda unforgivable really!!?… I’ll discuss more in the review my mate 👍🏻
@@Fiorwestcoast the 250 & 100 ES have sold out and the 400 ES is now waitlisted I believe?… so, it’s kind of sold really well, especially given ‘todays’ market and the fact it’s a reissue!… (& the bad vibe surrounding it). And to be fair, having a negative attitude about what’s been done really doesn’t solve anything or help get us to a more positive place where maybe something can be done to prevent such bad feeling happening again?…

Sadly I think it was such an incredible statue, that when we started posting pics etc, a lot of people who didn't originally take a chance on it decided too late in the day that they wanted one. Prime 1 saw that extra demand and voila... An official recast. What a time to be alive 😏 It does look great regardless. But it is not a business practice I want to see become the norm. That would be bad for all of us, including those who benefited with this.

I have the Kotobukiya 1/10th identical to this, and it's beautiful too. Wouldn't have room for this. There's a rumour they'll make some slightly larger ALIENS to scale with their Predators. If they do I'd love if they sold some busts too

I hate some of Prime 1's business practices. Such as recasting their own products like this. But they don't half make some incredible stuff. I have the original DX version of this and I can confirm it is indeed huge, and beautiful.

I actually think the og with the wall is better, but would I have spent 3k on it if I knew they would just recast it? It certainly would have been a more difficult decision, especially as mine arrived with damage and I was told there are no replacements, so keep it or lose it (if only I'd known) More infuriating is that they actually fixed the unstable bust on the recast. A complaint we all raised with the original only for Prime 1 to tell us all it's fine. Prime 1 yet again basically saying F**k you to all of us who actually supported them with the original release. I really am genuinely happy for you, you look super excited in this video and it is an awesome statue. But Prime 1 can bollocks. Thier products are definitely of a much higher standard than their morals as a company.

It’s staying in the front room matey, it too good to go anywhere else but! It’s on a stand in front of the fireplace at the mo! Looks good there, to be honest, and it’s footprint is small enough that it’s not really in the way at all? Plus scales well next to the Terminator & Predator 👍🏻

Its nice but i think i prefer that last xm piece the Hive alien. Still trying sell mine but no way im shipping. Never put 2nd head on and recently just noticed dome has gaps at very front. So might check that dome is on proper. Thought i got one perfect and no damage then find those gaps on dome just sucks. Nice to see yours not damaged.

Hi there… I owned the CA Pred (& obviously) I now have the JH Pred… and for me, personally… this Alien piece pairs up way better with the JH one as they’re both 1:3 scale (even if there is a 4” difference in height…) The CA one is just simply too small… 👍🏻
When you gonna work on you review : Do the height comparison to your 1:3 Scale Jungle Hunter. Many people say that Jungle Hunter is way taller than Big Chap.
I can understand as to why people who own the OG piece will be upset by this move… but I don’t really understand the argument of why it cheapens the OG piece? Nor to why that’s such an issue, given todays saturated second hand market, which is now vastly effected anyway by so many people just not spending anyway?… That said, I feel that pieces such as P1’s Dog Alien & the OG Big Chap (despite the reissue), will always have a substantial second hand value… 👍🏻
@@hauntofthecollector There were things the community didn't like about it (which by the way have all been fixed) but I thought this was my only chance to get one so I bought it. After I got it, I could have sold it for at least twice what I paid for it but that's not why I bought it. If for whatever reason I wanted to sell it now, I'd be lucky to get what I paid for it.
