Top job Luis, highlighting the importance of saving stuff for future use. This is something non-technically minded will never understand. The soft close issue reminds me of the guy trying to sell me the recirc function as an A/C when I was looking for a mk4 Golf to buy 😁
Good morning Luis. Excellent diagnosis and repair. It’s surprising what spare unused electrical cables you can find in your miscellaneous box. Jaguar should try to modify the design if this a common issue. 😊
good morning Luis look like a load of ford bits on that car i dont like the way the mouldings line up on top of doors to 1/4 pannel may have been bumped and not lined up correctly on the striker even if the door has dropped once the latch hits the striker it will align the door to 1/4 panel fitment and that may be the problem of the closing of the doors or ware in door locks i done a Z4 a few weeks back with soft close boot the wires on the pivoting micro switch breaks a quick solder and shrink tube back better than factory have you seen diagnosedan video no start because of a door handle i think you would like it hope you and the family have a nice weekend
Yes... it looked like wear on the door hinges... No, I have not seen that video... the door handles if part of the network can cause all sort of issues... so a non start because of them will not surprise me... I bet was a BMW!....🤣 👍👍👍👍
good fix .. just shows, there are always going to be problems with modern cars and electrics/ electronics, personally my view is what isn't there can't fail.
10,6V at battery seems a bad cell. When you put the door cards down, get the holding clips sometimes broken? Have you some set of spares for multiple car brands? Thanks for video.
Hi Luis. I noticed the door window sills (if that’s the correct name)on the drivers side is slightly misaligned compared with the passenger side. Any reason for this? Cheers 😊
Jaguar should be ashamed of themselves, using Cheap components on a luxury cars. Seems they don't care about their reputation and reliability. It's us consumers that enables them to continue their bamboozlement

They never had soft closing doors. The drivers door has dropped and needs adjustment

Hi
Yes... the battery was busted...
Yes, I do have new clips to replace when they break... which they usually do...🤪
👍👍👍
Hopefully get a win, but will take a draw. I think we need 4 points to stay upp
