MJ's Dreamer I think the floor is so slippery, and they're used to dancing on grass but then again that's no excuse, one of my old dance teachers use to tell us , I need you to be able to pull this off even if your on heels, on an ice rink.

@@chogan201 Exactly. If they were looking at this like they look at girls today, they would tear themselves apart. They did not have the talent & ability of today's girls. Like why can't people just enjoy it and see this is where today's standard has come from these women.. Imagine how the would be if they saw them dancing from the DCC in the 60s 🙄
the one and only, Kelli Finglass, in the front row (back in her blonde days). Fantastic dancer! No wonder she became one of the popular girls on the squad.
@Blob B it was solely perceived as a show for straight men to enjoy, the girls were and are very sexualized so I guess that's why they didn't include guys which is a shame.
They are missing a Chinese, Indian, jewish, muslim, Japanese and Russian woman, etc They are also missing from all races, a gay man, lesbian, trans, asexual, pansexual, etc.. they are also missing multiple age groups, 30s? 40s? 50s? 60s? I mean they are breaking every rule of 2020s Haha
It's great how a lady of today or yesterday can be so flexible to be a DCC. Plus dance so well. TODAY'S DCC are great dancers. I like their show (training camp etc with Kelli) And look at this performance ....on Jerry's old show, its hard to learn such intricate moves..AND REMEMBER THEM!..I couldn't.
She is quite featured... the first girl to run out from the right side... constantly in the front row. 1:55 however is the first sort of close up... she is on the left.. blondeish VERY curly hair. If you want to follow her from the end... she is the one on the ground in the center of the group.
I'm seeing a lot of comments putting down the dance ability of the 1980s squad compared to today's squad. IMO, I give them kudos for their stamina in pulling off a long program. The dance also required good timing and coordination of steps. The choreography might not be as complicated as today's dances, but it fit the 1980s and what audiences in that time period wanted. Good job, ladies.
