Just discovered you a couple of days ago and have watched sooooooo many of your tutorials over that time! (You’re right - I don’t have a life😅) anYway, needless to say I’m really enjoying them and I’m sure they’ll help me with my idea for a journal of Days Out Memories. I painted along side this one and one of a house next to a lake. I’m using a very cheap sketch book so it’s. It good with the water, I don’t have a fine line pen yet, it hey, I’m right pleased with my results. Nothing like yours of course but I’m emboldened to think I can only improve😊. You seem like a nice chap. I’m happy to subscribe and like🫶🏻
I'm from South Yorkshire and still live here. I have to say you've captured its beauty wonderfully. Good Job. I'm using your style as inspiration for my final major project at college.

Thank you Toby. I tried this to be looser. It all went well until I painted it.. I must try to not fill in shapes and I don't think I used enough water either. Please keep doing what you are doing and I will keep trying
Another helpful video, thank you! When you were talking about looking at other people's art, I remembered the times I've thought how fantastic a piece looks, but the artist has commented how this bit wasn't right or how they could do that bit better. I'm beginning to realise that other people aren't going to see the reference photo or scene, nor are they going to see the painting with the same critical eye. I hope that will let me be a bit more free with my sketching 🙂
Oh no! Filler music! Sadly, I can't do it, like many of the 30% of the population who are auditory learners. What's the use anyhow? We're not in a café, a mall or an elevator, this isn't an infomercial? TH-cam has been pushing their music catalog onto content creators for a long while now, supposedly to enhance the 'production value' of your video, but in effect it only serves to enhance TH-cam's bottom line. Anyhow, just wanted to let you know. I'm so sorry to miss out on this content...I guess the search is on.
Indeed, this is from a year ago give or take (and you'll be pleased to hear it's not licensed from TH-cam so their bottom line is the same 😃) None of my recent videos have any music, I just trialled it for a month to see the response. As a small business owner I won't always get things right, after all, it's just me doing everything and making every decision 🚀😍😄. But can't blame me for experimenting and trying to improve my business hehe. Sorry you disliked the music so much
