Good haul! The groceries add up fast! We are super blessed to have a discount store where we live! It makes buying groceries sooo much easier. If we had to buy it all at Walmart we would have a lot less options! We don't have aldi anymore, but when we did I really like their butter, kielbasa sausage, ritz like crackers, and their bagels! LORD JESUS is KING of kings and LORD of lords!
Oh my yes, it does add up super quick, I really wish we had a true discount grocery store closer to me. I went to a grocery outlet last year when we went on a little trip camping and it was amazing at how cheap the items were. If only they would bring one closer to where I live, even if it was an hour drive it would be worth the drive.
My Aunt loves those poppi drinks. She usually drinks 2 a day. Getting a little treat for your family once in a while is a necessary thing to do. It makes them smile and let's them know that you think and care about them . 😊
I was very happy with the flavor of the poppi drinks, I wish I could find them even cheaper. Very nice little treat and everyone else was very happy with their treats as well, Josh really enjoyed an Ice cream cone. It does in fact make them smile and remind them that they are thought about.
Have you ever heard of poutine. I think your family will love it. Its simple and filling. Make French fries put in a bowl add cheese curds and pour hot gravy on it. Salt and pepper. That T easy. National dish of Canada.
Yes, My husband is from upper Michigan close to the Canada border and he loves poutine. I will have to try it out for dinner one night as me and the girls have never had it. It would make his day. Thank you for that reminder.
Your attitude on here is always good. I'm sure as you have said, you struggle with every day things as we all do but you have the right attitude to deal with them.
Thank you, I have to say... only almost one month into the year and I have been working really hard at being super frugal and not buying any unnecessary items and saving for paying off debt and it hasn't been easy but I really do feel like I am making slow but steady progress.
Aldi will save you some $, but still compare prices! I personally love my Aldi store. Try peanut butter on your toasted bagel. Occasional treats are good for mental well-being. Like your channel!
Girl I wished you’d asked about the popi soda first, everyone I know thinks it’s gross, it’s been at all our food banks down here for free and people leave it lol cause they have tasted it, my sister went and bought some at Sam’s it’s like 20 to 30 a pack but she has the funds to do so, but she didn’t like it, she tried to give it to us and I was like nope lol 😂 please don’t think I am fussing or telling you what to buy, everyone deserves treats my friend ❤I hope yall love the soda, please know I would never upset or disrespect you, but I completely understand the Aldi haul and sour cream it’s a stable here too! Nice haul friend, well done and hugs!!❤ 🎉
Girl!!! I wish we had them at our food banks, I loved them. Granted I am also the weird one that likes sparkling water as well. If I could find them even cheaper or even free I would have to get them. I know you aren't fussing girl!!!! I was actually very shocked at the flavor. It was really tasty to be honest. They weren't super sweet, but they also weren't very bubbly either. Everyone loved their treats, the rose shaped ice cream cones were very yummy.... Wish there were more than 4 in a box. Yes Sour cream is a must have in our fridge.. we use it multiple times a week. sometimes daily. lol Thank you my friend!!!!
I live in Missouri a dozen eggs now almost 5 dollars a dozen thank God I have chickens. They are not laying very well because it’s been so cold but I do have them and they will start laying again. I spent $190 at the grocery store and $92 at Walmart I did have to buy medicine but it is so crazy. I do not knowwhat large families will do if this keeps up.
I agree thank god that we have chickens as well, they aren't laying very many right now either but they are still laying enough to provide. I understand medicine can cost but you are right the cost of groceries is outrageous, I know here the eggs are already at 5 a dozen. Large families are struggling as well. I have 5 in my household and my sister has 10 in her household, 8 children ranging in age from 3 to 16 and they are really feeling it as well. I have given her the resources for her county for local food banks and they do also qualify for government assistance having such a large family so she does get a bit in food stamps as well but with the cost of groceries it just isn't enough. I keep many of her kids on the weekends and it isn't easy feeding many mouths so you have to get very creative with how not to waste food.
If you have a cvs in your state they have name brand cereal for $1.99 this week. I normally get our cereal from Aldi also but…I was in cvs getting my prescription and saw it and grabbed a few boxes. ❤
Probably the only thing that I would consider a waste of your money is about seven dollars spent on prebiotic soda. when you think about it, it may take y’all 30 minutes for the four of you to drink them and then the money is gone. Whereas another box of the fruit strips or another couple of snacks of some kind might’ve blasted a little longer. But if that’s the worst you do then you’ve probably done pretty good
Thank you, I agree the drinks were a splurge that wasn't a necessity but I have to say that I really enjoyed them.. I feel for me that it isn't as bad as some who go out and get a take out coffee every day or even twice a week as those really add up or those that buy a vending machine soda at work those cost 1.90 here at my job. I honestly agree that i could have went without them but it was a nice treat more for myself as the others just wanted a small sip to taste and it wasn't there thing... they didn't care for it.
@@marykoufalis7666 yes WIC, I do have teenagers and in a previous video I shared how my oldest daughter was expecting and sadly she lost the baby in November yet she still receives WIC for 6 months after the loss.
@@TeresaBlanton-dc4hq thank you. My daughter did have a baby on the way. She lost the baby in November but was able to continue to get WIC for 6 months after the loss.
You need to treat yourself. A little treat brings one joy. When they call for a storm here, people stock up on chips. (Storm chips is the term used). Storm good excuse to treat yourself.. lol
For your next Aldi haul! Yes, you all deserve a treat now and then. I’ve been loving your videos lately ❤
Thank you so much, I appreciate the love and support, it means so much to me!

I really like Aldi for many reasons and I think it’s great to treat yourself once in a while. Enjoy 😊
Thank you, it had been months since I had went and I too enjoy Aldi.

You should try making fruit roll ups! What kind of drink mixes do you like?
@@mes9766 I need to try my hands at that. I have a dehydrator. As far as drink mixes I like all of them.
