@@createor8590 that wasn’t the argument but healing isn’t hard. heal, have good positioning, and throw cc when dove. most times you’re gonna have a mid tank over a mid healer anyways. but i wouldn’t know i play dps and usually run flank take space and apply pressure for my team until i see a good time to engage.
55k is very good 😊. Also multiple factors goes into it. I.e how long the match was, how much healing was the other support doing, positioning, etc. 55k in one match is great when most matches is like 30k for a basic match amount of time. Only time I got 80k was a payload push match that lasted 5 rounds cause both teams reached the end 4 times 😵💫
even though this ended up being a draw this was an impressive game. a few ultimate's were poorly timed but you already brought it up while it was happening. i dont think you could have done much more. honestly a masterclass in positioning and ability cooldown management while tracking enemy ultimates. cant wait for more streams chasing top 50, best of luck & God bless

I was tweaking out the entire time when he didnt use his C ability for like 90% of the match. That, and him not using the heal orb (E) on his tanks when they were tremendously low. I did like his positioning tho, helps to not die often
@@ihuboo6244 using your E on the target you are already healing does not provide bonus healing, it is only for multi healing targets, the C ability would have been nice for some self peel though
Solo healing is never ideal that is for sure, you just have to play to your characters strength which is super long range, she rewards great aim which is nice

Well, I am plat 1-3, roller coaster and despite that people are super chaotic and often taking bad decisions, I am doing 36 - 50K with her, put in a similar team composition, while at your rank, people are organized and understand how the game works, so I would say that it is possible for any player with practice to reach your number. Great video man. The most useful part for me was to see your positioning, because mine is still not perfect, but now I got an idea what I am doing wrong, so thanks a lot :)
@@Onqotkarlovo of course, I am working always to become a better player, also keep in mind that ranked can just be ranked sometimes… today on stream I went like 5-11, that is HORRIBLE but it just happens sometimes, don’t let it get you in the dumps and continue to play your absolute best, that is how you improve. @@Voiiid well, started to get games with 60K+ heal, but what i discovered is that this is just crap. Better is to focus on damage. I am having easier games, having 20K damage and 25K heal, than 10K damage and 60K heal. It is like this in overwatch and paladins as well though. Unfortunately, I cannot get out of plat, 1-2-1-2 :D and the playerbase remaining in plat seems to be getting worse and worse.

How to get 73 heals as luna.... have good aim and have a long game where virtually no one dies. If no one dies it opens up major heals. If your team wipes the other team you wont have shit for heals

I have no issues with escort missions. Control point missions are the issue. How do you adequately heal there when half your team is not in front of you, out of LOS, and the enemy is diving the whole time? My survivability is pretty good, but healing drops off pretty substantially on the control point maps

@@ReikiVT yep, this is exactly right, since the ban phase is not “anonymous” you will have people target banning each other. Happens essentially every game if a team has a one trick
in high elo you often queue against the same people multiple times in a session because a lack of players. You quickly learn which people are onetricks, so banning their onetricks is always good.
Hey quick question I noticed that you kept your share the stage ability on the back line dps most of the match but in tough situations where the tanks were getting shredded you didn’t switch orb over for the extra healing. Was wondering why you didn’t do that and seemed to only have it on the fliers
@@hdxfgxrg the reason is because it’s not extra healing at all, it’s shared healing. The entire point of the ability is to heal another ally that is hard to heal in most situations. The ability never says anything about providing bonus healing anywhere, on the website or in game, hope that helps.
Share the stage just gives half of your healing output to whoever has the orb on them it doesn’t account for who you’re healing so if you heal the person that share the stage is on it will do 1.5x your healing rate instead of just your base healing rate. You can check it on the bots in the practice range
Yeah, she's incredibly fast if you use it this way. Putting it on fliers is a great option if you don't need it, but if you need to save a tank that's getting jumped it helps a ton.
I have a question as a Luna main myself if I’m getting flanked by iron fist or black panther or magic what am I supposed to do iron fist just blocks everything and gusts me to death, black panther is too fast to react, and magic just disappears through her portal and can’t aim right. What am I supposed to do???
The biggest skillgap on luna is knowing when to use your freeze and actually landing it. Every freeze you shoot on a flanker and miss, well if you died its technically your fault there because you could have stalled. Just work on aiming it, and use voice comms to scream to your teammates that you either froze them or they are on you and try to run towards your team
because if you actually look at what happens when you do that, it is not worth doing it at all. Players can easily die through the spam because it is not on healing all of the time, therefore only "healing in spurts" and not the full healing channel all of the time. I have talked to "Karova" the best support on the best team currently and he says aswell that it is completely trolling to do that and not worth it, test it in practice range for yourself to see how much less healing is accomplished especially in crucial game winning fights, just stay on healing.
@@Voiiid Interesting I acknowledge that you can still be bursted sometimes. But I have tried not spamming it aswell and teammates still end up dying somehow.

I am not, the devs made a statement on twitter that it is really not suggested to do such a thing, I did use a config file at first, but when all of the top streamers stopped using it I did aswell, no reason to risk an account ban.

I guess my most difficult part of playing Luna is just getting dive tanked and two shot with no real way to defend myself, do you just recommend playing farther back to avoid that or do tanks just stop full diving back lines in higher ranks?
@@scenefilms658 lol if anything it’s not JUST the hulk or tanks that will be on you but their flankers are going to be all over you aswell in higher elo. you are more than likely making positioning errors (which is completely okay, we are all learning) but sometimes during a dive it’s just going to be rough. Position like a sniper healer that is essentially the easiest way to but it, but also close enough where if you call for help they can still help you and you are not in a 1v1 scenario

I assume it's to prevent the upcoming damage from the enemy team and help the team push without dying or being pushed back. Spam switching between heals and damage during ult doesn't really do either effect that well, compared if you were to hold one for a longer duration. (Or at least that's how I experienced it)
@@clifto5187 that “ult tech” will get your teammates killed through your ult. Through testing the healing is much much lower and is absolutely not worth doing. I have talked to the top team right now currently being NTMR and even they are saying that is absolutely troll to do
Keep it up, its not always about the numbers honestly, if your team is playing well and not taking a ton of damage then you wont have a ton of healing and that is a good thing!

Man, it really does suck as a Luna main to do stupid high heals only for me to get screamed at in chat that people aren't getting healed XD. It is especially annoying when Iron fist or Spidey comes back to clear the supports and we can't do anything about it or the Tanks and DPS rushed into unwinnable odds and end up dying and I am expected to go in to take the spot without my ult. It would be one thing to buy some time with my ult, but how do you expect Luna Snow to take on the entire team? I am entirely fine doing it as Groot because there I can divide and conquer and Groot is a beast tank who can take an ungodly amount of damage but Luna Snow? Come on now. I am in Gold 3 now, so I hope I don't have to deal with incompetent DPS players from now on....

Even though you did all that healing, you didn't get MVP, that's why, I don't play support and I'm forced into dps, even though I like playing support, and I have the most fun that way
probably because when u play support u heal bot, its not all about healing. dude was healing people that were already at full health when he couldve been doing damage and maybe even gotten a pick or help to get one, even if u dont ur still distracting the enemy from the rest of ur team and therefore providing value to ur team, as long as u dont over extend. theres so much u can do as support other than healing. he shouldve had way more than 12k damage at the end of a 30 minute match

High elo players know each other so they target ban people sometimes

If the assassin or flying dps is in Egypt out of your vision but still needs heals they’ll get it since you’re already tunneling into the tank anyway

Nope there is not, Iron fist is such a terrible character that I have almost NEVER had him on my team to even pay attention to the fact that I had his ability lol

Man, it really does suck as a Luna main to do stupid high heals only for me to get screamed at in chat that people aren't getting healed XD. It is especially annoying when Iron fist or Spidey comes back to clear the supports and we can't do anything about it or the Tanks and DPS rushed into unwinnable odds and end up dying and I am expected to go in to take the spot without my ult. It would be one thing to buy some time with my ult, but how do you expect Luna Snow to take on the entire team? I am entirely fine doing it as Groot because there I can divide and conquer and Groot is a beast tank who can take an ungodly amount of damage but Luna Snow? Come on now. I am in Gold 3 now, so I hope I don't have to deal with incompetent DPS players from now on....

probably because when u play support u heal bot, its not all about healing. dude was healing people that were already at full health when he couldve been doing damage and maybe even gotten a pick or help to get one, even if u dont ur still distracting the enemy from the rest of ur team and therefore providing value to ur team, as long as u dont over extend. theres so much u can do as support other than healing. he shouldve had way more than 12k damage at the end of a 30 minute match
