Get a set of factory front tow hooks from eBay or your local junk yard. At most they will cost 60.00 on eBay. They will attach to mounting points behind the bumper cover.
I'm a little surprised there isn't an in-bumper rear hitch so it doesn't hang down so far. I put a hitch on my wife's '15 Renegade and the rear crashbar is replaced in order to put that concealed hitch in, and it comes with a bezel that pops into a hole one has to cut into the rear bumper cover.

Save you some time and money and make your rig look nicer. Throw that after market hitch in the back and take it to a dealership. There is a recall on after market WJ hitches because they puncture gas tanks when hit. Jeep will install a brand factory hitch and cut it into the rear bumper cleanly. I took a hitch off off a WJ at pull apart for $20 and got a new factory one installed for free.
such a comfortable position and look at 6:10 :)) i think it would have been easier on jack stands, supporting with a knee and one arm and putting bolts in yourself. lifts are great until they're not, more so when there's different height people working together ;)
That’s what happens when your vehicle is ran over salt covered roads all winter! There is a reason the area is called the rust bucket! Looked to me like the vehicle did have the factory undercoating on the first video? The undercoat does fully protect the under sides of the vehicles! Your brakes, rotors and other stuff has to be changed our yearly! I have a neighbor who use to live up North and I have a few friends that live in Wisconsin... My neighbor use to live up there too. They are in the process of moving back to Ohio...
Mike Thewrenchbender seeing as how the frame was bent in when they went to mount the hitch was probable hit in the rear at some point maybe salvage yard rear hatch door?
WILDn WHEELING304 I think that was just a tired look because he was holding the hitch up so long. But yeah she is kinda hard to work with because she seems pretty dull especially when working on vehicles
The last time I saw this guy he was wrenching out of a cave on an old crusty wrecker. This guy could make washing a pair of socks sound analytical. $500 truck but yet he buys a whole new hitch and not a used one but the $800 is twice his budget? If it's a recovery truck who the heck cares about bumpers!
If I remember correctly, Their was recall on this Jeep. They installed a trailer hitch to protect the gas tank from rear impact.
I know they did for the Liberty KJ

Tow hooks from a Limited or Overland -- direct bolt on and cheap... My overland had shiny chrome ones, but now has a Goliath winch bumper lol

The bolts hold the gas tanks skid plate.

Bolt up the rear holes and chani it to a tree and pull it back into place.

Surely you know someone with a frame machine pull it out and then weld in new metal later when you get to that point we're your invested in it
if it doesn't have a trailer hitch it was never back for its Recall from Chrysler corp LOL ...
