I started on the Iris Series on PS2 and then I played most of the localized games on PS2, including: Atelier Iris 1-3, Ar Tonelico 1-2, Mana Khemia 1-2, I REALLY hope you port some of your PS2 games to current consoles :)
Oh how i have super fond memories of Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland it was a fantastic journey that I couldn't stop and then I started collecting what I could of the series.
i played atelier ryza recently and have been absolutely enthralled with this series since. currently on ryza 2 and going to jump right into ryza 3 after. and then i plan to dive into the mysterious saga after that! hahah, im in love and wish i knew how much these games would mean to me a long time ago!
I am playing Lydie and Suelle right now when this just popped up for me to see. I still have to catch up on Ryza, but it super cool seeing a little tribute to something I love.

It wasn't the cutesy, colorful series that it is today. Atelier Rorona was really when Gust (developer) decided to change to the more light-hearted tone. So if you're a fan of the recent games, trying to go back and play Atelier Iris will be like jumping into a Final Fantasy game.
Each series can be played without worrying about the other ones. I'd suggest to start with Ryza, it's modern, great graphics, music, characters, no time limit. My personal favorite so far is Ayesha though I have to admit it was Ryza the one that hooked me to the series. I started years ago with Totori and Annie but it was Ryza the friendliest entry for me to start playing Atelier non-stop. I haven't played all of them but overall I'd say the characters and the music are always awesome; the alchemy mechanics and battle change from game to game but it's so addictive to me.
I played since Mana Khemia 2 and I have Arland series (excluding Lulua), Dusk and Mysterious series, I'm saving up to buy Secret series in the future!! XDXD I just love atelier series, so fun and beutiful! XD
I still miss my Mana Khemia 1. I wish it would be rereleased with updated graphics, slightly updated animations and a shorter distance between the two crafting rooms. Otherwise it's fine as it is.

Great series until they stopped doing English voices. So many of us prefer dub, so won't buy if it's only subbed. At least give us the option, like most modern JRPGs.
Most modern JRPGs make money off of it, KOEI already showed multiple times it costs them immensely more than it's worth. An extremely low percentage of players played their games in Eng Dub, they were losing a lot of money, it wasn't sustainable any longer so they had to redirect the budget to features that actually make sense. It's sad but natural; it's pretty obvious that if the data showed it was worth the investment they wouldn't have stopped.

I played Atelier Iris only and that was a fantastic game with a beautiful opening song
Randomly bought 5 games in the series around 2019 cause it had always been in the back of my mind, glad I did one of the cutest series
The ost and the bgm while making and mixing stuffs makes me chilling and enjoying the game. Glad to play this games. Thank you Gust!
