I feel like Gon from hunter x hunter should have an honorable mention in the event when he sees pitou in the invasion. That scene really shows the change of attitude and emotion that Gon had and although not permanent, his charater really changed from a kind hearted boy to a person filled with revenge.
great list, another caring character that really changed was Obito from Naruto. He was shown being late to his training due to him helping out an old lady to cross the street. He witnessed the death of his true love by the hands of his best friend/rival. He went ape shit when he saw this and ended up slaughtering an elite group of ninjas out of rage. He even started a war out of his rage.

It's because of these events, that make even the kindest person turn villainous. To me, those people are "lost". The term I describe those who have lost somebody/something or have lost their way of being human.

I actually have a an OC names Kou who used to be nice and sweet when he was little but he was bullied a lot for his unusual hair and eye color. His own dad even cut out one of his eyes. The kids would always bully him for his looks, the fact his family hardly has money, and that his dad left him and his mom. He let his hair grow long and his bangs grow to cover the bandage over his eye Kou started shutting everyone out but still wanted to make friends and be happy again so he’d try to.But it never works. After his mom’s death, was when he finally snapped. Some boys were bullying him and once they mentioned his dead mom, Kou tackles them and started punching one of them. He didn’t stop punching, even when the bully started to bleed. Eventually a teacher had to pull him away. Everyone was so scared that they stopped bullying him so much. And Kou decided to live the rest of his life not getting close to anyone.
