Came to see Oli Brotherhoods work. He was right. The amount of talent in this scene was amazing.
When is oli ever wrong haha. He brought so much talent to the project and luckily we found all the right people to put in front of the camera too, and the rest of the crew behind it! Thank you for watching it means the world!
The tension is absolutely palpable the whole time, nothing never gets comfortable
🙏 that's exactly what I was hoping for so thank you!
Fellow Cinematographer here for Oli's work. Incredible as usual, but blown away by the performances and implicit storytelling! Well done all around!
Hey Benjamin, checked out your page, loved Wind in the Pines! And thank you man that's really kind of you to watch and say. The cast were an amazing bunch!
@@aramatkinson Thanks Man! I'll be checking out the rest of your work and look forward to seeing future projects from ya!
@@Benjbratton got a few actual shorts in the brain so hopefully a proper short film will be on the horizon soon!
@@aramatkinson Hype!
Beautiful! You have the gift of empathy and an attendant respect for the audience and it shows!!!
Thank you! Very kind of you to say :)
This is incredible Aram, really wow! Can't believe it's "just" a scene taken from your 70-page TV Pilot Screenplay! Hope this gets big, you deserve it man! 👏🏼 Anywhere we can support, just shout 🙏🏼
Thanks dude! You support me enough already for which I am truly grateful for 👊👊
SO GOOD! I hope you get the opportunity to turn this into a full pilot one day.
Thanks Teddy!!!!!! Really appreciate that. Me too! It's a long game but fingers crossed :D
Aram, wow! Incredible work from concept, writing, directing, cast and crew. Honestly amazing work - and it's enough to make me want to see more for sure!
Aw dude thanks Josh! I got real lucky with the amazing team who came together on such short notice. Will have to get you onboard next time!
Amazing work man, hope this gets the attention it deserves, got me invested from minute 1. Congrats to the whole team!!
Cheers Roberto! The team deserves a lot of praise they were amazing. Thanks for supporting my work as you always do, means a lot!
💯 💯
Good work Aram! Looking forward to see your concept developed soon!
Cheers Emanuele!!! We can but hope! Glad you enjoyed it and hope you're doing well!!
This is brilliant. That talent both in front of and behind the screen, and the sheer passion involved is almost tangible. Bravo
🙏 Thank you! I honestly couldn't have found a more hard-working and talented team of people to work with. Nice to know the passion gets across the screen :D Cheers for watching!
I'm impressed that you did the edit and sound design yourself, fairly compelx for a one man post-production process.
This looks like a premiere pro edit by the fonts which surprises me a bit since i think that program is torture to use.
Good work on keeping the tension high and incredible acting. I would love to see this turned into a show. Also the shots are beautiful and well planned, shoutout to your storyboard artist and AD for that.
Overall a very impressive production I'd say, you gave a bunch of people something great to add to their portfolio's!
Thanks for the kind words! Edited in resolve actually (I agree about premiere being...challenging). No storyboard artist, just some very badly drawn boards by me and the DP haha. I long for the day I don't edit/sound design. What a joy that'll be to have someone else do it, always loved it whenever I've managed to bring an editor or sound designer on but sadly didn't have the time or money to on this one. Thanks for watching it and leaving your input :)
P.s. incredible work by Oli, agreed! And my producer did a great job doubling up as an AD. Big love for her work
@@aramatkinson Resolve supremacy woohoo!
@@thatoneguyatschool8453 😂Long may it reign!!
Wow, that made me incredibly uncomfortable and had me changing the way I sat at least three times. I'd binge the shit out of a show like this honestly.
Thank you! Hopefully one day you'll be able to binge the shit out of it haha.
I love the depth of this story
Thank you! There's a lot more to it in the full pilot script, hopefully one day it'll get to be made
What an incredible short movie! Everything was on point, very excited to see what you are going to do in the future!
Firstly, can I just say 'the curious goose' is an incredible name, big fan. Secondly, thank you! Fingers crossed it has a future somewhere someday, I believe it does, maybe not for a few years but one day!
this is insane wtf, please keep going, motivation for all of us watching
Definitely still going! Can't slow down in this industry, hopefully one day this full script will get a commission! Cheers for watching
Wow couldn't take my eyes off! Very good!
Thank you!!
wow...incredible work. the story is gripping!
Thanks Mjae! It's all down to the actors who were absolutely incredible and came with so many good ideas
This is absolutely amazing. Great work!
Ah Thank you!!! I'm relieved people are enjoying it haha.

Thanks Andi! Will have to get you on the next one
This is so good!
All down to the cast and crew! Thanks for the kind words, glad you enjoyed :)
Brilliant work! Isn't that Sacha Baron Cohen at the double bass?
My fault...it's Matt Findlay. Great actors, all together. Wonderful work.
@@calydoscope1162 Haha. Cheers man, they all brought their A-game for sure.
It just feels patronising having a white "filmmaker" tell a story like this.
Sorry you feel that way. I try to support and promote diverse and disabled creators telling their own stories where I can, and when I'm working on my own projects that aren't about white male stories (cos lets face it we don't need any more of them) I do my best to include and work with diverse and disabled creatives in every stage from writing to post production so I avoid presenting stories that feel as if they are only created through a white man's gaze. Thanks for watching and I appreciate your openness of your feelings. Take care :)
Hey man the message would be the same, the fact it feels so genuine says something
@@sirsanti8408 That's your opinion, not mine. To each their own.
