      @@dku001 yeah but Jokic's contribution to the team is surreal. He is great, but he makes the whole team, every player better. It's simple with Jokic playing. Get open and he WILL find you every time. Plus every other weapon in his arsenal. I have never watched Bird, only highlights, and he has had a tremendous career, but keep in mind that Joker is only 28 years old. Damn, with these stats and potentially more championships, we may be witnessing something great. If someone almost averages a triple double, that is simply unseen along with 20, 30 plus points. Yet every season he is under rated. You wanna know why? Because he is not a show man like every other American player ( or an all star ). Interest in basketball and basketball alone. Boring. NBA is about who can put someone on a poster up. Same with Luka. He is physically not a beast, as Jokic, but he is natural. That is what you lack over the pond, the competitiveness, the hunger. It's just all about money and commercials and coverage.

    To hear a competitor with a heart like Magic speak so highly of Bird you know they have a special relationship. They became brothers through some of the most fierce competition the court will ever witness. These guys hated each other. But they always respected one anothers game.

    • @magicofshootingstar
      @magicofshootingstar ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @Matthew King
      There is a difference between hating someone and wanting to beat them. They did everything they could to win over one another but Magic actually wanted to be Larrys buddy. Bird has said that he couldn't be friends outside of the court and fight fiercely inside, so he waited until Magic needed to retire to reciprocate on the friendship. But he still liked Earvin even during the years when he wanted to be better than Magic. 🙂
