Most people think they need to be free from the penalty of sin. Sins of the flesh aren't the primary problem...they are fruit of something far worse. You're created in God's image. You're required to reflect that image perfectly. You are require to present a righteous life. Paul tells us there's none righteous, no not one. Instead of imaging forth God's perfect righteousness. we reflect our own idolatry and sins. You are in desperate need of a righteous life, to present on Judgement day. Now where will you every find that??? Look to Jesus, friend. Repent of your self righteousness, sins and idols. Only Jesus has a righteousness that will The Father will accept. Stop evil works of self justification, and believe the Gospel of Jesus, and the Kingdom of God. Has God "given you over" to sin? Now is the best time to turn to Jesus, and make Him your righteousness. If you turn to Him in faith....He will be faithful and JUST to stand in the gap and forgive you. It's called grace, and is freely given...even though it was purchased at a great cost.

If you reseal a bit - there was a god and idol whose name is/was Sun.
Which explains/ no man can serve two masters.
I did much research online in the last year to understand what’s going on -
The false shepherd- leads you into temptation the condemns the person with shame. Scapegoats the full blame on the person.
Tell it to leave - call on the true shepherd who leads you to Living waters. ( Out of your innermost being will flow living waters)
Love The Father With all you heart and mind- and know what he has wanted the whole time IS To BE Loved 🥰 And also each of us ❤❤😂❤❤

First time I read this it fed into my disappointment with his 'Space Trilogy'... And among other things* fueled my 'deconstruction' as it now seems to be termed.
*E.g. Reading the bible Genesis to Revelations for the fourth time, and particularly getting to grips with the resident second hand tent salesman... Who has to be one of the most obnoxious characters in the whole bible, after the 'god' dude... Who is clearly a psychopath.
