Tbh i didn't even remember this scene in manhwa so I was shocked and this music made it 10times better.
I only remember the name of Igris and the ant Beru, so many things will surprise me in the anime like my first time seeing it.

Years ago i adored reading this series, and the Anime had NOT disappointed. Its absolutely the best way to experience this story if you can wait for the weekly release. Theyve done such an amazing job with every aspect
Just look at chapter 23 then watch the episode and say that again. When he decapitates the first one and you see how the other guys are losing their shit while panel for panel the head drops to the ground with the final panel of Jinwoo looking like a demon, saying nothing than just "One". That is real hype and then compare it to this trash where he just stands there looking like a hentai mc and saying "One less".

I have nothing against Manga-readers, it's a really nice way to enjoy time, and I know Manga is usually more complex than the anime. But man, I CAN'T IMAGINE, this scene now without this god-tier music. Gave me chills!
As a reader from like 2018 trust me this scene still hit harder than the manhwa.
Funny enough the anime is gonna far surpass the manwha with how the anime is goong so far. The manwha itself gets pretty underwhelming pretty quick so hopefully the anime redeems it heavily

When he said " three times..." his eyes looked exactly like the god statue laser beaming everyone.

man that shit was awsome, unlike the malice from the other adventurers, his was completely devoid of hate or any other emotion, they were obstacles in his way. nothing more. the eyes sold it, as it reminded exactly of how the god statue treated his party, insects that were in its way.

No love, no hate....only indifference of a god looking down on mortal below. giving out punishment for their indiscretion. That was awesome, i had my doubts in early episodes but this one donest disappoint. Now, im looking forward to jeju island arc.
I disagree. His eyes were more of a premonition of what Jinwoo will become. I don't want to spoil it for you, but we will see those eyes more and more down the road.
@@the100thtimelord2 fair enough. But if you literally cut a side by side where his eyes are glowing while he's fighting and the statues from epi1, they look very similar if not exactly the same. I definitely feel like there's some type of entity/deity in the background piloting the system, shaping him to become some sort of apostle/disciple of some kind. I Do agree we are not yet seeing his full abilities because the intro definitely hints at that with that weird stuff coming out of his hand (some kind of wisp or 'matter'). There's definitely something hidden that he hasn't reached yet; at least that's my take.

I went into this anime expecting something fairly generic, but holy moly man this anime has blown me away completely. I didn't expect something this good. Easily one of my favorite anime thus far. This one is going straight into my favorites playlist ASAP. The voice acting and ost are especially good, as well as the animation.

This song was definitely one of the highlights of the episode. Now I'm incredibly hyped to hear Igris's theme at the end of the season. I really hope we also hear "Arise" by the time the season is over.

The Statues of Music OST was really good, but otherwise I wasn´t drawn much into the the OST so far.. this song is probably the single best thing about Solo Leveling so far.. the extend to which it enhanced and emotionally established the scene is insane.
