Atomic Bomb Survivor Yoshitaka Kawamoto Testimony (9 min.) | Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum

Yoshitaka Kawamoto (then 13) was a first-year student at First Hiroshima Prefectural Junior High School when he was exposed to the atomic bombing in his classroom in Zakoba-cho, 0.8 km from the hypocenter.
As director of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, he informs hundreds of thousands of visitors from Japan and elsewhere of the reality of the atomic bombing.
