14: Opacity -- Passing the Test with 3M™ Ceramic Microspheres

Opacity is an indicator of how much paint will be needed to cover a specific area. It affects a paint's ability to conceal the previous coating: if a paint is not opaque enough, the original color or pattern will show through.
To test opacity, we will perform a drawdown using a Bird Film Applicator with our automatic drawdown machine.
