YES thanks for the pet journal idea!!. My old girl is still around but going thru health issues that will bring her over that bridge before too long. Kind of a memory album I think. It's gonna be tough for me as I've had her for 15 years. As a confidant and companion, she's been my all.
I know all about that unfortunately. They just don't stay long enough. I know your journal will bring you comfort though. It is a lovely idea.
OH. MY. WORD!!! I was dreading the process of gluing the die cuts together, so I reviewed the tutorial again. I am so glad I did! Using Mod Podge Matte and a sponge brush worked almost effortlessly! 😍

What an amazing give away! I was a painter in encaustic work. I had a bad accident at work and now most of the time I’m home bound and off and on in a wheelchair. I became so depressed my therapist recommended making junk journals. This literally.saved my life. I just do them for me and I watch your channel a lot to learn new ways to decorate or make items for the page. I love your laugh and when something goes wrong it’s always funny you have magic tape to fix it or something. I would love to have that journal! It is right up my alley on color and texture.

p.s. - to use your brayer (or the like) with those sizzix dies just put a piece of parchment paper over the top of it. That will help protect the edges of the die cuts. 👍🏼

P, S This was a great tutorial, it's a bit like Paper Tolle with layering. I like Mod Podge as a sealant especially a matte finish mod podge you can get shiny mod podge but it's not as effective. can't wait to see the finished product.
