    Nice job ☕ I'm not familiar with this marque, what were the original symptoms? Presumably a light tapping?

      That's just the thing, over the noise of the engine you don't hear it at all. Kawasaki engines have always been mechanically quite vocal. The only way to check if the tensioner is hitting the basket is to have the cover off. GPZ1000R right through to at least the ZRX1200 has the same issues. Knowing about the potential for the clutch being obliterated, I just didn't want to take a chance until it had been modified.

      @@iamthefatstig 👍 I get it, I own a 2008 Yamaha FZ1 a bike fabled for eating the magnets when they get loose from the stator, no warning, not always any obvious signs by inspection, just a code on the dash warning about battery charging and a unholy mess when oil pan is removed.
      Changed mine pretty pronto after learning about the potential problem and it wasn't cheap, but Peace of mind! 🙂
