I wear an N95 which looks very clinical so I like wearing a regular cloth mask 😷 over that. More importantly I feel it offers me more protection, allows me to preserve the N95 mask and allows me to be “fashionable “ if I want to match a mask with my clothes - while still being cautious.
Never understood the American tradition to gift clothes for Christmas ... Clothes are personal purchases ,,,, it create :RETURNS !! = waste of time and energy ,,. Give me a lovely card ,,, insert big ,,,crisp ,,,,bills . $$$$ ,,,gift cards will do too 😉
We generally only give clothes to our immediate family. From parents to kids or vice versa . If it is a not so close relative or friend then perhaps a 🧣 scarf or tie etc but I see what you mean.
Have you considered that your mother could live with your family when she moves their? You and Kenton are technically empty nesters. I mean barring the pandemic.

Actually in the UK we open xmas presents on xmas day. Some people open one on xmas eve (to keep their children happy).
Perhaps nowadays they open presents 🎁 up on Christmas Day but growing up it was on Boxing Day.
