I live in the Red River Valley of North Dakota. Farmers here are very rich. They don't need support. They don't have to pay taxes or pay their workers overtime. They have it very good.
Great video, Taylor! It's always a race against the weather when farming. You managed to save the hay just in time before the rain. Love seeing the behind-the-scenes of farm life-keep up the great work!
afternoon taylor im from the UK your work ethics is somethink to be proud off most men never mind women couldnt keep up with you but can see you enjoy wot your doin keeps the videos coming love them
Always entertaining. The close ups and angles of the wrapper and each function gave people a good look at that technology. Older farmers didn't have that.
Another great video, sweetie. We’ve had nothing but rain here but we need to start second cutting soon. we need to dry bale ours. I have raked with our 1066 with our rotary rake, it’s a little overkill, but it works. That’s pretty neat. I have never seen a 1066 with a foot throttle on it. I am glad you’re getting some haying and done and all is well with you.🤗
Brent testing you with the questions about how many cranks to lower the rake had me laughing, especially liked your reaction like you knew it was coming.😂
Hey Taylor another great video. Keep it up and don’t weary in doing good. You looked a little spent at the end of this one, probably from working so hard. Oh and I’ve almost made it through all of your content your videos have come a long way since you started.😉👍🏻
I am 76 and grew up in the era of loose haying with a hay loader and wagon. We took the loose hay into our barn. It was great to see how it is done today. One thing that hasn’t changed is the raking it into windrows. A great video, enjoyed watching. Thanks so much.
Thank you Taylor, another great video. Cooling quite a bit here ìn NE rural Ohio....low 60s at night and 70s during the day. Stay well be safe, see ya on the next one.
Hi Taylor from Wisconsin where it is 50 degrees and no humidity. That was a great video of your haying procedures and the bale wrappings process. There is an old saying that says to make hay when the sun shines but you revised it to say make hay when it’s time. I noticed your t-shirt said “Living the good life” . When you enjoy what you are doing which in this case is farming then you are living the good life. MaybGod bless you and Brent when you are working around that machinery.🙏🐄🚜😎
Never apologize for your work attire! Stained torn or pin holes they are tattoos of hard work! Don’t apologize about body oder around midday sweet smell of a hard days work! I’m a retired welder/fabricator I know!❤️🌹💋 from the USA!
Hi Taylor thanks for another awesome video. That busy enjoying that international you forgot where you are going 😅. There again you wouldn't get tired of using it. It's like you are dancing 💃 with the rakes in out shake it about. You two certainly work well together team work, the International looked so sad when you drove past on the massey. Bailing is one of those jobs you never get bored with. Thanks again take care out there and be safe 👍 😊.
I've just now found this page... nor sure why it hasn't come before but this is amazing content. I'm from farm family (unfortunately) didn't grow up on a farm, but helped with harvest time, usually driving a grain truck. Thank you for showing the inside view of what it takes to get to harvest Yes, you're collecting feed for the cattle, and it's more work than grains..minus the stubborn combines lol
I always enjoy watching your videos, you do a great job placing your camera so we see all different angles. Your not just a talking head. Keep up the good work!
Reminds me of operating mf 165 and MF 290 during my growing up years on my father;s coconut estate in Trinidad, W.I. This young lady is hard working, smart, admirable, beautiful and cultured, Congrats.Keep it up.
Taylor,,,,,,, hard working people get dirty, don't be sorry for that, i respect your work ethics, if more young people were like you, the world would be much better off, you are a rare young woman with great ethics, thank you for the great vids Dave from Missouri
Absolutely outstanding video, that was so cool to watch!!! I am a machinery freak and seeing how those bales got wrapped was amazing!!! That's an awesome piece of equipment!!!
I could ride along with you or Brent all day any day! Never understood why but for all of my 47yrs I LOVE tractors and heavy equipment. My wife and I with our 2yr old were up roaming around central and northern Maine from Fl looking for land. Never made it round quite to your area but if i had I would have waved as I drove past. I appreciate the time you take to make these as they are super nice to take my mind off working in a giant concrete manufacturing plant. Keeps my mind outdoors even when i cant be!
I don’t mind mowing, raking, or baling hay. But when it comes to cows I much prefer eating them to milking them! Although you do get good milk to make cheese though! You can’t get good raw milk unless you own cows or are in a cow share program. And cream for making butter! A big thank you to all our farmers for keeping food on our tables! Farming is often a thankless job filled with a lot of hard work and long hours. Mending fence, doctoring cows, pulling calves if needed, rounding up the cows if they get out. I remember the first time seeing a round baler, love at first sight! 😂
Dont worry bout a bit o muck on your T Shirt !- you're a proper grounded Farmers Daughter and doing a Great Job - Refreshing to see !! Great Video !!! All the Best, STAY SAFE !!! and Good Luck 😃
Your videos and farm life are always fun to follow!! Farmers always seem to be at the mercy of the weather. It seems to be too wet/dry, too hot/cold....there is always something working against yall! George, my lab, would have made short work of those geese!!! lol Stay safe!
If you put a draw bar in the 3 point arms and hook on to the rake with that instead of the main draw bar, you can raise and lower the rake easily for transport and for different conditions (like lifting over mounds around ground hog holes). I always did that with our rake.
I was able to turn as sharp as I needed with no problem. If anythin, i could turn sharper because it pushes the rake back almost a foot from the back tires. You can also lift it then to drive over the end rows without picking them up as well as adjust for the field on the go from the tractor.
We used roller bar rakes like you have (although Case and somewhat older). I see everyone using tedders now and so much loss of leaves beating and flinging the hay I don't see how they do it, but then most haven't used the old style. We had an 806 gas, so very similar to your 1066. We raked with a Ferguson 35.
Hi Taylor, you guys are doing a grate job and I love watching 👀 your videos, so you keep up the good work and keep up the grate video's, all of us dedicated fans who watch your channel we all love you guys 🎉❤ stay safe and keep up the hard work 😊😊 Verne Johnson 😊
That was very cool, you have a great eye for different camera angles and timings. I haven't seen those attachments in action before, just usually sitting in the fields.
Another great vid, like the way you position the camera so we can see the workings of the machinery and the results of your days work, you must sleep well at night, somewhat different to an office job, keep safe you gorgeous gal.
❤Tay, your daily farming tasks @ mowing remind me in my younger days of farming in SE WA. Wheat & pea harvest. Actually we worked 12 hr days; in a hurry to finish harvest, etc. Then we'd be occupied w/discing, plowing, harrowing for sumer fallow. In SE Idaho went thru potato harvesting. When I was young, I enjoyed every minute of it!
Hi Taylor and Brent just finished watching you’re video it was beautiful no need be sorry you’re clothes are dirty this show you’re true farm gal and as always you and Brent be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks for all your videos Taylor, awesome work. I had a little laugh when you and Brent hooked up the rake. I think my 2 year 22 horse 4 wheel drive Kioti with a front mount snowblower could even haul that. Lol Thanks again, kid , from a loyal viewer from Central New Brunswick.
Raking the windrows together really speeds up the baling. Some parts today are unbelievable the cost.Thank for a great video.your baler puts out a nice looking bale.
Great video just a friendly piece of advice it's better to use the hand throttle when doing any type of field work the governor will maintain the the engine rmp up hills plus it increases your fuel economy to keep steady speed
Hi Taylor and Brent lovely video as always. You are a fantastic and fabulous team. You both work so well together. Thank you both very much and all the very best with your day pat Brazil 😊.
Raked a lot of hay many yrs ago, last time in 75. Always used a 39 F20 or a 38 John Deere A. Our big tractor was a IH 1206. Same type rake. F20 was very efficient, only about 1.5 gallons a hr.
Good morning from Hillsboro NH. Guess winter is coming. No more shorts and flip-flops, cool evenings, cool wind is picking up, day light getting shorter.🥶 Hurry hurry, with safety⚠️
Hi Taylor and Brent just finished watching you’re video it was beautiful no need be sorry you’re clothes are dirty this show you’re true farm gal and as always you and Brent be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 that’s wrapping machine is unbelievable
I used to pull a small New Holland rake with our 160hp (pump turned up) IH 1486. Was it overkill...? Yes but I I enjoyed driving that tractor probably as much as you like your 1066. Great tractors!!!
go girl interesting to see how other countrys do there hay, we are from Queensland Australia, really enjoyed the comtent very knollageable and informative
Yeah here in Eastern Ohio we hardly got any rain from late Spring all the way till now in late October. A lot of farmers are hurting from that and a lot of fairs/festivals were either cancelled or downgraded
Y'all need to find a good old Farmall H to rake hay with. Fun to drive and you can run it from sun up to sun down on 10 gallons of gas. Great video racing the weather. Have a good one, keep'er movin.
Good day Tay, it was 38° the other morning here in Alaska and one of the fire weed I have out front of my cabin has come to the end of its flowering and it's my understanding there is termination dust on the mountains around White horse Canada, both of those signify the end of summer is near, UHG! Watching from Iowa. We have been in drought for a while. My nephew in Colorado says humming bird are starting to leave for the south. Here in Iowa, starlings are holding their meetings for travel planning. We know in the midwest, when there starlings are making a racket, weather changes are coming soon.
Hi Taylor, that’s a lot of horse power to pull a rake, I’m surprised Brent doesn’t get a 60-80 hp Tractor for tedding or raking anyway thank you for the video I always enjoy them
Great video Taylor, the camera angles were amazing. I’d never seen a bale rapper before. Down here (NC) in this part of the state it’s a big dairy area. I haven’t seen any bales wrapped, or let’s say not many. I see bales along the road that have been there for a year or so. The 1st cut this year was put in front of last years, go figure. How much moisture difference do you guys have when it’s wrapped? Thanks! Be safe!!🚜🇺🇸
Yaylor you and Brent are a real ‘team’ . I’d like to point out a real safety hazard most of your equipment does not have shields on your PTO shafts. This is a real hazard, it can wrap you up in a heartbeat, Google “farm worker killed by PTO shaft If you don’t like watching horrible accidents, don’t watch it . Keep up rollin out the farm videos .
Nice haying video. I like doing it, but watching someone else is almost as much fun. Nothing wrong with raking with your favorite tractor. Keep up the good work.
Just another great farming video. You amaze me with your work ethic. I wish that all people had your work ethic. The world be a better place. Have a great day and God Bless.
Brent is really lucky to have such a beautiful, hard-working woman to help him Greetings from the canton of Bern🇨🇭🇨🇭
Taylor, really respect what you and Brent do. Wish more people in the US knew how much our farmers need supported.Keep up the great work !

I like this, And she’s running a 1086. 103. HP. 6 cylinder. Super great tractor, Built like a 1206. I had a 1206, 1965
Taylor i rarely comment, but you are doing an amazing job. Bless you on your journey, wherever that is.
Great video. Lots of machinery shots and the teamwork you both display!

Glad ya took the time to do some hay rolling video Tay. I enjoy seeing the tractors and hearing them. Hope y’all have a nice weekend 🙂
T, Thanks for the different angles of the machines in process. For us that wouldn’t know from one view how it’s working it helps a lot. Be safe.
Always entertaining. The close ups and angles of the wrapper and each function gave people a good look at that technology. Older farmers didn't have that.

Enjoyed the golden bun & fuzzy hair, Tay!
well done on the improvisation Taylor. I cannot believe that parts I used to sell in 2003 have increased in price 1000%. .
My tractor of choice for raking hay was the mighty Super A International Harvester. Had plenty of power for the job and was efficient on gas.
I used DC case for all parts of haying. My first tractor poor boy in 1984.
You are a real lady, knowledgeable.
Hi from Northern Ireland tay brilliant job your doing an so beautiful....

Vc faz um ótimo trabalho parabéns pra você...
thanks for another great video!!!!!!
Great video! Interesting to watch the bale wrapper, don't see those where I live in Colorado.
Thanks for watching, I think it’s fascinating how someone designed it😃
