Hi can you help. I hired a guy to help me start my Wordpress on godaddy. But we no longer work together and go daddy back ups my site , if I change themes do I need access to cPanel or is this no longer important as I’m on godaddy
ok but what exactly is cpanel you just gave us your mission statement, you didnt say what exactly cpanel does, does it host websites?, is it a web site builder, it connects web hosting companies to web owners ok but by doing what exactly?

I've been using it for decades, and I still don't understand it either. I think as long as you know the parts of the elephant that are relevant to you, you can make it work for you. Just don't worry about the other parts of the elephant. And don't overthink this metaphor. Its forthright ambiguity should suffice.

Great job on the cheesey cartoon characters but all I got from this is that you somehow make webhosting or maybe web publishing easier? How about quit trying to be so cute and put up something with some substance. Sadly my webhost "Turbify" said that by clicking the link that led to this video I would get an overview of how cPanel works..... yeah, that didn't happen.
Yep. Turbify for me too. This is just telling me it makes it cheaper for them. I wonder if my hosting cost will drop once transitioned? In the meantime I am unable to update my site and this is worrying my customers. And then I've got to find my way around a new interface. All I can do is hope that this is an improvement but it's frustrating because everything has been working just fine till now. If it ain't broke don't try to fix it.

Childish and sales oriented. Where's the vid to show us webmasters how to use it. FTP used to be simple, now we have cPanel
