My friend showed me your content like 3 years ago and he bought all of your stuff and made some really nice and clean Shatter. Proud to come back all this time later to apply it to what I’m going to do.
Thank you so much for the comment there's nothing better than making your own shatter because you can Purge it till you know it's clean whereas you buy from other people you never know the butane content or contaminants in the shatter have a great day

Yea I find the best smoke is from whole plant hang. Or atleast big branches. 65/65 for temp and rh. Wait atleast 10 days no sooner as long as parameters are in check. And dry trimmed. Once u do it you will never wet trim again. And its hard to wet trim multiple pounds. U can start curing before u even trim if u dry trim. Keep up the good work fellas

Taking the summer off from growing this year, the heat and humidity in the grow room got completely out of control at the end of the last grow late spring harvest and honestly I have never seen foxtailing so extreme . Fortunately I was growing Wedding Cake and Girl Scout Cookies . It was said of both strains they are PM and mold resistant . And they are! lol Anyway I'll give the grow room a bit of a rest and get back in there late summer. Good to hear from you . You guys take care in the way up north

I tried the silicone cake pan and it just made a mess but I just bought some PTFE to try exactly what you just did and now that I've seen the results with parchment I know it will be much better than all the scraping I was doing before so thank you!!!! First time I ever blasted, I got 2 Oz and mashed it all in a glass tube. Put 2 can through it into a Pyrex cup. Then I put cup into a pan where I poured warm water into until it was basically a film. Then I put in Everclear and slowly heated it up evaporating the everclear and butane over a couple hours. I got about 10g of apple juice colored product.....it was pretty amazing lol.
I am not brave enough to try this at all but I am fascinated and really enjoy watching and learning from your videos. I hope you continue to sell your extraction tools!
It's pretty safe if you just go outside and blast it. Then use hot water poured into a pan to heat instead of the hotpad. Once it's a goo it won't blow up or anything.

DON"T blast directly onto parchment, the butane is too cold and will actually eat the thin layer of silicone. I suggest blasting into the pyrex, let it purge down till its still thin enough to pour into a parchment boat and you don't need to scrape the pyrex. If you let it purge in the pyrex as the butane dissolves it will get warmer and is then save enough to pour into the parchment.
You can use PTFE I believe it's called n it's somewhat like parchment but you can blast onto it n purge afterwards without transferring the oil in any way. It's probably 4-7x the price of a roll of parchment , but I personally blast into a pyrex dish or a stainless steel pot for bigger runs n then pour onto parchment paper after about 95% of the liquid butane is gassed off with a water bath.
Love the vids mate. I love that you take us through each step so simply but with enough info. I would have thought it was ready to dab after your 1st vac purge but how wrong was I lol. How do you know your not purging out cannabinoids though? I would be scared to keep purging and losing terps etc
What kind of bud do you prefer to make this, previously you said that the outdoor grow produces more resin, but do you dry and/or cure it? Or do you freeze it directly after cutting?
The bottom line is the better product to start with the better product you'll end up with fresh frozen makes a nice shatter usually a little lighter in colour and usually a little less of a yield I prefer dry crispy herb this makes a nice yellow hard shatter
Question. My shatter was looking real nice but after I flipped it it has now turned into a crumble consistency. It’s almost done purging and looks good but isn’t shatter and am confused as to what may have happened
@@johnnysgreenextractions8144 I ran at 100 but it kept going above the desired temperature . The highest it got was 120. Doing another run on the 22nd so I’ll run it lower this time forsure
@@TamasinoTV that's exactly why it turned to crumble a temperature gun with the laser is a great device to get the temperature inside your chamber or Bowl try about 90°
