I have the 2024 streetglide in whiskey fire all chrome. Put new floorboards, handle bars, seat and voluteer audio amp and speakers. Slip on shark road and sissybars and mirrors looks awesome and stereo is load with the new audio. You will enjoy the ride. I Also put air ride on it.
The floor boards have been around since at least 2006, my first streetglide in 06 had them..As for Audio...Volunteer Audio in Knoxville TN is crushing the 24 game!!!
There are more options for audio than Rockford. I have a 24 RG and have a Cicada amp and 2 6.5’ Cicadas up front. It’s so loud I don’t have to have bag cut in’s done if I don’t want. Plug and Play and works awesome!
Can’t wait to see what you do. This was the first HD and learning as I go. Changed the windshield, slip-on exhaust and added a skid plate but now what to do next for winter upgrades and costs.
Totally agree about the inner fairing. For as nice and fancy as the rest of these new bikes look, the inner fairings on both the SG and RG look unbelievably cheap and low quality. Even some sort of color match or chrome trim rings or accents around the speaker pods and screen would have made it better looking instead of just a wall of flat black molded plastic.
Congratulations on your new SG. Was thinking of getting a Road Glide about 4yrs ago before everyone else started getting them but then health issues delayed my purchase but now I'm ready really considering that SG in Chrome trim
I recommend (while it’s still new) S100 Anti Corrosion Protectant Spray, or WD-40 for your exhaust tail pipes, the recessed tip ends. They can be kept nice and shiny, like new and won’t rust or turn black from the exhaust fumes/smoke. That is if you keep the stock pipes.
Dude I pulled the Triger on New Road Glide I am shocked with the speed handling and Its outrageous !!! I have 187 mile on it so far need to take a trip LOL the best by far is an understatement !! BTW with the Tour pack the bags interfere with the tour pack and wont open. HOG WORKZ has a work around for it it raises the tour pack about 1/2 inch so you heard it here . !! Love the color !!
That's what I said when I rode my 21 Road Glide Limited. It felt way better than anything else I have rode home from the dealership. Do I want a new bike.....yes! Do I want to come up with $30k plus when my bike is close to being done the way I want it??? NO! I just need to add a cam/tune then a sidecar to my bike and I will be a happy camper till I no longer throw my leg over a seat and grab the bars!!!
Just picked up my 2024 S. Glide - agree "Nimble" is the feeling that constantly comes to mind. Previous was 2017 S. Glide CVO. No comparison best new bike decision I ever made....added ESP discount extended warranty.
I picked up a ‘24 Road Glide about a month ago. I love it. I was originally looking for a Street Glide but knew I would be changing the bars and the Road Glide looked a lot easier to do. The guys over at Thrashin just finished some work on their ‘24 Road Glide and it is HOT. I’m looking forward to seeing what you will do with your Street Glide!
Just got a 24 Road Glide in Whisky Fire. Live in the NW to cold now and it's killin me haha...First thing to go was the windshield...went from a 19 Road Glide Ultra to the 24 and you're right the handling is way better! Congrats on the new Bike!!
Congrats, great looking bike! I got one myself about 1 month ago and already did the full stage 1 upgrade and just purchased the stage 2 speakers/amp and should install soon. I suggest messing with the audio settings you can make it sound louder, also I changed my windshield and it made a huge difference on my head not shaking and also I can hear my music better. Enjoy!
Nice new bike, congrats. I wish more people would purchase the SG honestly. Back in 1998, when the RG came out as the RG, I was the only person I knew that wanted one. It was cool looking and different. I had no issues finding my bike in a crowd. Now I can’t go anywhere without seeing someone on a RG. I liked being different. Still am, I’m not a blacked out guy, like chrome and loud colors. 👍🏽
The 24 Street Glide is almost the red headed step child, especially when it comes to the aftermarket. My wife has been looking at different options for bars, and there is not very much on the market. Can't wait to see what all you do.
very cool a '24 street to add to your herd. i understand KRAUS is developing an adjustable bar (not T-BAR) for a street glide. if you inquire, maybe they will come out with it to the public.
Congratulations on the new bike love The color not a big fan for chrome, but looks good. I believe volunteer audio In knoxville tennessee has speakers in amps for the twenty twenty four street glide. Look forward to seeing all the changes you do on the bike.
I was in shock that you were going to ride it home in December. Then I remembered you're in FL. My brain was thinking about our weather here in WI. My bike won't see daylight until almost April. 😭
Good energy, man. Solid video. I bought one in October 24. Loving it. I hear you about the inner faring but I like the matte finish. Keeps that glare to a minimum. Had to change that windshield quick. Too much buffeting. Got an 8” Klock Werks Flare. Much better. Keep sharing!!
The stock Suspension does have new internals and was retuned specifically for this bike. I agree it rides way better than any other stock bike, it handles really well to!
Earlier this year I bought the 23 Street Glide CVO for a great deal. I absolutely love it... I originally planned to buy the RoadGlide. I have only done a few tweaks with new a Klock Works screen, stage 1 with Khrome Werks, and a license plate "tongue" delete.
If I did not get the pearl white, it would have been that color as a matter fact if they had the Road Glide in stock with that color, I probably would’ve went home with it. Congratulations to you and the family.
The new bikes do feel so much different. I went from a 2014 SG to a 2024 RG. I tell people all the time that completely stock, it didn't feel like a Harley. Once I got some exhaust on it, it finally felt like a Harley again.
Congrats!! I've had my CVO SG since March and love it and I was also a road glide guy. The slide out tray is the best. Now if advanblack would just get the copperhead paint I'd buy a fender and tour pack.
Congrats on the bike! Although my newly acquired 2002 Electra glide classic makes me happier than my 22 special road glide ordered without rdrs (totaled it) The older bikes have more character
Congrats on the new bike. You now almost have enough to become your own dealership. :D I have 2 myself (23 Road King Special and 1953 that I just finished rebuilding). Would have more if I had the space. Nice looking bike. Enjoy and stay safe.
@@ProfessionalMonkey Yep, spent a year "restoring" it. rebuilt engine, tranny, everything. Kept the red patina. Fun bike to ride, keeps me on my toes. :D

Curious if the infotainment screen goes down if the bike will continue to run? At least in the old fuel guessing days we had idiot lights for oil pressure and battery. The touch screen on my XTS for radio, HVAC, and navigation was $3500 when it died. I can't imagine Harleys cost to replace that. All that aside. I do love the show and keep the content coming.
So awesome somebody’s gonna be doing street glide upgrades because everybody’s doing road glides,I got my new 24 street glide in September. Absolutely love it and it’s black on black.
Excellent decision! I domo rode a SG at Orlando HD last year. Met Jess (131 Girl) there. Last March, I bought the same bike--2024 SG. Terrific bike. You will like it more as you put miles on it. This is interesting to me, as I will probably add a 24 glide after the 25s come out. I'm not sure if it will be RG or SG, I like them both. The dealers I checked out have plenty of the black finish, but very few chrome finish. I'm not a fan of black at all. I could go either way with the fairing, I've had both, and its not a big deal to me. I like the Whiskey fire also, so it will depend what I can get the chorme finish in. The dealers seem to have a lot more SGs than RGs.
Love the comment about the visible license plate. I crack up every time I see redacted license plates in photos or videos. Agree on the gloss black inner fairing. Beautiful bike cheapened by that unpainted inner fairing.
Oh dang, typed out the whole paragraph and forgot to Congratulate you on your NEW 2024 SG, like the Whiskey Fire Color. I had the ability to have a 2024 RG for a few days as a loaner bike, and I have got to say that the Seat Position for a guy at 6’3” is horrible. - My back hurt so much, really wish Harley would offer the Extended Reach seat at NC for folks who are lets say over 5’10” tall. Also the suspension is not nearly as good as the Piggy Back shocks that I installed on the 23 Fast Johnnie. Next step is to put front suspension on the Johnnie to help with tarmac washboard roads. Woof it is bad. My Indian Challenger has a much better Stock Suspension, and my BMW R1250GSA is better than either of the touring bikes, baggers, dresser bike. The Screen on the 24 is SUPER, SUPER cool. Really want an ST but can’t justify the price out of the gate. (Need one for $38,000 OTD at 2.9% Finance Rate)

M-60 for the door gun. .308 instead of the 50. That black piece of trim, my last Street Glide had a chrome piece under there. The only time I ever even saw that piece was when I washed it and that didn't happen often, lol. I like to ride more than wash. LMAO, I saw you messing with the gas cap. Make sure it's closed all the way. I had filled up and was heading home. A car started to pull out in front of me and I got a decent bath when I hit the brakes. I make sure it's closed ALL the way now, lol. I have no doubt you'll enjoy that bike. I had a sensor take a sh*t that took a couple days to remedy but beyond that I love that Road Glide, and yes I find excuses to take the bike, lol.
Looks like a pretty bike. I’m not so much a fan of the new fairing. I just traded the Murder Street Glide in for a 22 Road Glide. Had to have the old style fairing. Got killer deal and it only had 2k miles on it. Basically new. Look forward to watching you soup this new bad boy up. 👍🏼
Howdy! I love to watch your videos, and stupid me the other day mind me everyday seems the same when retired, at least to me. But anyway I watched you change your wife’s exhaust and I loved the sound of the new pipes! But for the life of me I can’t remember the manufacturer’s name of the new exhaust? I know it was 5 inch pipes and do you think that they would fit on my Tri-Glide? It’s a 2020year! It only has 7 thousand miles on it and I can get back on my bike this spring! The reason for such low mileage is I wasn’t able to walk or get on it until I convinced myself to get hip replacement surgery. Now I am starting to walk with no pain and normal, and I’m starting to get the bug to ride again, and I loved the sound of your wife’s bike! Thank you for your help and may you and your family have a wonderful Merry Christmas and a Happy New and Healthy New Year!

"I hear they're coming" I see what you did there.
Wow must be nice Merry Christmas big guy
Thanks man! It is nice.
Yeah, that gas cap thing is a common issue, it always seems to get left a little bit loose.
Welcome back to the Street Glide family. Congratulations
All of our pipes are Tab Performance.
and I hope you feel better quick!
