Totally agree bro this was the first Graves era song I heard somehow… thought holy shit this is amazing… turns out the rest of his shit sucks my ass but it’s okay!! Danzig era rules tho one of the best bands ever… Jersey style…
Totally! I love the Graves era of the Misfits, I prefer it over the Danzig era. I still like the Danzig stuff a lot, but the Graves stuff was just incredible
I was an extra in the Movie " Bruiser" I was in the crowd scene when The Misfits played Live (Scream) It was crazy Awesome. and I have been a Fan ever since.
I think the Graves, Doyle, Only, Chud line up was tight and their precision in playing Misfit’s type of punk rock was almost tactical. Politics aside, Graves was a good frontman and singer for this incarnation of the band.
I do not understand why that track was a bonus song and therefore available just on selected versions of "Famous Monsters" - it's the best song of that album!
Was just thinking this. Devil doll, bruiser, and No more moments are some of the best material the graves era band made. Truly a shame they didn’t make an album with all originals and not a mix of b sides and demos
hmmm seen the Misfits in Asbury Park, NJ during their reunion tour, seen the Graves version of the Misfits 3 times and of course the Original Misfits too.. excellent band and vocals! You can hear the New Jersey in the music. used to blast this shit driving down the Garden State Parkway. Cheers! Punk Rock!

Graves was a decent studio vocalist, horrible live performer but this band aint about him. This band was about how Jerry and Doyle had learned to write a decent tune, I loved the vibe of their music, it crossed doo wop, punk rock and heavy metal very tastefully.
Punk really isnt about the talent behind it anyway although it certainly doesn't hurt. It's all about having a catchy song and the energy of the live performances. That's what puts the moshes in the pit as it were.
Mike's vox with Misfits have always been pretty good. Jerry had him doing the world's shittest Danzif impression forever, but when he finally starting singing his own style, it was usually better than the album.
Individual results may vary, I suppose. Seen this version of the band four times and Mike was on point with the vocals every single time. Now Jerry on vocals.....🤢
I've been a fan of this band for 1,002,022 years.
Rocking this shit since the times of Babylon.
been hearing this since earth was created
Hahaha
I built the gates of Babylon
me too but 2 more years than you so I win 666 punk rock points to me .and thats how that works x
Used to have this song on full blast as a kid

@@BigMoneyBenjamin ok unc
Michale Graves is a great singer, RIP misfits
Right? But at least Jerry only picked up the pieces and made a Misfits album when all of the members left
Hands down the best song misfits put together
MISFITS came back with such a cool metal/punk sound. I love it!
Totally! I love the Graves era of the Misfits, I prefer it over the Danzig era. I still like the Danzig stuff a lot, but the Graves stuff was just incredible
@@diamondmiles8462 wtf dude
@@MartyMcFly88 Graves era was rad. And Doyle's tone really evolved and he had a great sound.
Zachary Stidham definitely! Graves era is what introduced me to them, Famous Monsters was the first album I heard and fell in love
Metal? Theyre horror punk
This song is dope !! Still kept that punk vibe alive with a melodic twist 👌

And what is the need to mention politics?

This used to be on spotify and then it was removed. I was gutted.
If you can find the CD cuts from the crypt it's on there :)

Cuts from the Crypt has the misfits best songs tbh

Una auténtica joya; Las letras de Graves son magníficas.
Legendary song.
My nickname at my first job was BC and this became my theme song ever since.
Well you do kinda look like a caveman no offence
Anthem of the toxic youth! Graves!!!
The demo recording is better than the album recording. More raw and punk sounding
Sludge Mouf where can I hear it
