The one I’m most prone to is haughty eyes. I hate when people are judgmental but I find myself being judgmental in thought. I’m trying to combat these thoughts by reminding myself that everything I am comes from God. I have nothing to boast about.
Amen! Jesus I’m crying out to you. Please hear my cries. I’m struggling with my faith. I knew when I found Jesus my life wouldn’t be easy because I would have to give up on my sinful life style and follow him. I’m a single mother struggling to make ends meet. Since covid I have been struggling to get back on my feet. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to my pre existing health conditions, lupus and heart disease so now I’m having a hard time providing for my children. Both of my sons are special needs. I’m overwhelmed I started homeschooling them due to bullying. I’m waitressing and I’m happy to be back working but I’m not making nearly enough to get by. I have nowhere to turn no family nor friends. No hope. I have been put down and mocked, over my situation. Prayers are all I want. I’m so ashamed and so embarrassed so please be kind. Every month I struggle with my children I’m barely making it. But I still keep faith. Praise Jesus. Please hear my prayers. I have faith God will continue to provide.
How can we help. My heart aches, reading this. Pls god see so deeply within this message. Let every person the see and read this message discerns with the holy spirt and to deliver her and her children from hardships. Haughty eyes and lies. I didn’t think of my looking at others and thinking looking down on them for petty reasons. Lord please forgive me. I don’t mean to be that way, and I learned to lie as a little girl to protect self and find that I stretch the truth sometimes and or not speak the complete truth. My heart has been deeply convicted Kaci. Thank you for this video. My sin is having lying lips, and gossiping about people. This has caused discord among the brethren. I’m so ashamed but know that God can and will cleanse me from all unrighteousness.
After watching this, I have done all of them at one point Even some that I still do and not noticing. But I thank God for his forgiving soul, but that means I must strive to break out of those habits and become new in Him. You know that when you scroll past a christian video and read the title, that convicts you a bit, then think, nah maybe later, is when you should probably watch it. Side note: Finding out the etymology (root meaning) of words in the Bible (in Hebrew) has blown my mind.

I actually thought telling the truth about someone’s wrong actions towards me wasn’t gossip or defamation. I’m in my reaping season and it seems like every thing bad though true that I’ve experienced in relationships with people that I’ve mentioned in conversations is being brought back to me. In aggression and violent threats.

Thank You God for the conviction and guidin me to this video that we all really need to be reminded of.. We can all do better. We can all grow more in terms of being selfless. We gotta be HONEST about how easy it is for us to be selfish and not see or hear how we are goin against what God loves. and runnin to what God hates. How easy it is for us to be hypocritical. For example, I absolutely hate when people lie to me...but I have lied to others. like my mother...which God has shown me right as i am writing this by her bringin it up just now. God has also been showin me how, even though it may be truth and i am not necessarily speakin ill on a person, expressing how someone has hurt me and what exactly they did "wrong" or lied bout DOES NOT help. I am being reminded to stop all together talkin bout others and our issues if they aren't physically there. If i feel like it is still unresolved (which it probably is if i gotta take it to another person) then i should be takin it up with GOD and that person if God allows it. Not anything or anyone that is in this world. If i am not speaking life, then don't speak on it at all. If it isn't encouraging, strengthening, or empowering to ALL then it don't need to be said...God help me and others to be slow to speaking and anger. Help us all to tame the tongue so we can honor You by properly loving others. There is no need to be petty. there is no need to be salty. because You are gonna take care of us all. @@rochelleperry2242 There comes a time in this wall that we have to determine to just obey. Obedience is a part of this walk that there is no sugar coating or round about ways of getting it done. We just have to do it. We’re not left to do it on our own, and God gives grace to us when we mess things up. At the same point, He will not always spare us from the natural consequences of our actions. He can always intervene and desires us to lay our desires and needs before Him as a trustworthy King Who calls us friend.

I feel like I struggle with Haughty Eyes. I sometimes look down on non believers or also compare how “spiritual” I am to other Christians or one Christian to another based off gifts. Rather than seeing that they all are God’s children

I think I can stay away from these for very long stretches then in one day commit most or all of them in some way. Usually if I am angry or built up frustration over a circumstance or person I have to fight off that whole scenario. Im practicing being more quiet most the day also being more careful who I allow into my life doing self reflection daily and praying and fasting more to perfect spiritual fruits

2 weeks ago, I went to share matzah bread on passover to a believing woman who is a seamstress in my building. Some older ladies (customers) came in her store while I was there and they were gawking at me (older women take interest in me bc I look different in this country with a mixed accent and somehow fluent. they find it fascinating) they asked who I was and the seamstress woman kept smiling with a smug false humility stroking my back and arm saying "this is my daughter, my daughter" I've met her 3-4 times in total. She weirdly lied IN front of me TO strangers and became more and more elaborate speaking about me AS my mother ( I stood there in confusion and said nothing thinking where is this going?), she was smiling while these women chatted away taking in all the compliments of raising me so well, in a certain way in order to appear wealthy to this random strangers. it felt so cheap and disgusting over-time the more I thought about her eyes/tone of voice/what she said.... it really didn't sit well with me because I have a special relationship with my mom and she's done everything for me. she's incredible and went through so much together.... it crossed all sorts of boundaries and triggered me so much ESPECIALLY because my mom had just flown back home after visiting me here and i dont know when I'll see her again with busy schedules this summer. a woman who has NOTHING to do with me, does not know me at all, has never done a single thing for me in my life pretended/lied about being my mom so these random clients of hers who come in her store will see her in a certain light.... it was the most unsettling/bizarre experience. imagine some random woman lied and said your baby is her daughter and went into detail about her life with lies. This taught me : white-lies/exaggeration/not saying something to appear a certain way/exalt yourself in someway is the same as lying. I understood how disgusting God sees lying. we're seperated from the Lord because of what the serpent did in the garden, a LIE incorporated with some truths. Her lie caused me to be prideful in that I began to think I grew up a certain way what in the world was she talking about/this woman definitely wouldn't have been able to give me or her children the life I had lived. we're separate from her etc. These thoughts in me I hated because I never think this on a day to day basis and treat everyone the equal amount of respect. But in that lie that I hated, I began to think of things I don't ever think of: That this life I have had so far is better than what she could've ever been able to give her children. arrogance / pride. that I had better education/my home/my life etc in comparison so much resentment towards her weird behaviour. Then I realized... the Lord gave me all things. My respect/honor I felt towards my parents because of her gross weird acting turned into pride/resentment towards her in comparison and pride. Sin leads to more sin. The LORD, He gave our family everything we have. My life and experiences... all that I have I can't take credit for anything I've ever experienced. Its all His. I avoid this woman even though I promised her I would give her some gifts that will help her with her business. Do tell write her a note/letter. Do I avoid? I've been struggling with nagging feelings about this.
No idea which of the seven is this one but I struggle with romantic relationships. So maybe arrogance or my feet ran to evil in the sense that I dated the wrong girls, ladies, and women. It's been 10+ failed relationships after another. Either girls, ladies, and women hate me because I'm the jealous type or they don't care like how Eve didn't care about Adam. I really struggle with the sin of gossip and recently I discovered asking for gods grace (the ability to say no to sin) helps and i tried asking for the gift of gods grace especially with gossip and it worked! I’m guilty of lying. I know it’s wrong. I tell “white lies” sometimes and I don’t know why I do it. I know this affects my integrity of character, and I know that Satan is the father of lies, and I have repented for doing this, but I still feel guilty. I keep taking it too God but satan is definitely making me believe I won’t be forgiven

@@rochelleperry2242 There comes a time in this wall that we have to determine to just obey. Obedience is a part of this walk that there is no sugar coating or round about ways of getting it done. We just have to do it. We’re not left to do it on our own, and God gives grace to us when we mess things up. At the same point, He will not always spare us from the natural consequences of our actions. He can always intervene and desires us to lay our desires and needs before Him as a trustworthy King Who calls us friend.

I think I can stay away from these for very long stretches then in one day commit most or all of them in some way. Usually if I am angry or built up frustration over a circumstance or person I have to fight off that whole scenario. Im practicing being more quiet most the day also being more careful who I allow into my life doing self reflection daily and praying and fasting more to perfect spiritual fruits

2 weeks ago, I went to share matzah bread on passover to a believing woman who is a seamstress in my building. Some older ladies (customers) came in her store while I was there and they were gawking at me (older women take interest in me bc I look different in this country with a mixed accent and somehow fluent. they find it fascinating) they asked who I was and the seamstress woman kept smiling with a smug false humility stroking my back and arm saying "this is my daughter, my daughter" I've met her 3-4 times in total. She weirdly lied IN front of me TO strangers and became more and more elaborate speaking about me AS my mother ( I stood there in confusion and said nothing thinking where is this going?), she was smiling while these women chatted away taking in all the compliments of raising me so well, in a certain way in order to appear wealthy to this random strangers. it felt so cheap and disgusting over-time the more I thought about her eyes/tone of voice/what she said.... it really didn't sit well with me because I have a special relationship with my mom and she's done everything for me. she's incredible and went through so much together.... it crossed all sorts of boundaries and triggered me so much ESPECIALLY because my mom had just flown back home after visiting me here and i dont know when I'll see her again with busy schedules this summer. a woman who has NOTHING to do with me, does not know me at all, has never done a single thing for me in my life pretended/lied about being my mom so these random clients of hers who come in her store will see her in a certain light.... it was the most unsettling/bizarre experience. imagine some random woman lied and said your baby is her daughter and went into detail about her life with lies. This taught me : white-lies/exaggeration/not saying something to appear a certain way/exalt yourself in someway is the same as lying. I understood how disgusting God sees lying. we're seperated from the Lord because of what the serpent did in the garden, a LIE incorporated with some truths. Her lie caused me to be prideful in that I began to think I grew up a certain way what in the world was she talking about/this woman definitely wouldn't have been able to give me or her children the life I had lived. we're separate from her etc. These thoughts in me I hated because I never think this on a day to day basis and treat everyone the equal amount of respect. But in that lie that I hated, I began to think of things I don't ever think of: That this life I have had so far is better than what she could've ever been able to give her children. arrogance / pride. that I had better education/my home/my life etc in comparison so much resentment towards her weird behaviour. Then I realized... the Lord gave me all things. My respect/honor I felt towards my parents because of her gross weird acting turned into pride/resentment towards her in comparison and pride. Sin leads to more sin. The LORD, He gave our family everything we have. My life and experiences... all that I have I can't take credit for anything I've ever experienced. Its all His. I avoid this woman even though I promised her I would give her some gifts that will help her with her business. Do tell write her a note/letter. Do I avoid? I've been struggling with nagging feelings about this.

No idea which of the seven is this one but I struggle with romantic relationships. So maybe arrogance or my feet ran to evil in the sense that I dated the wrong girls, ladies, and women. It's been 10+ failed relationships after another. Either girls, ladies, and women hate me because I'm the jealous type or they don't care like how Eve didn't care about Adam. I really struggle with the sin of gossip and recently I discovered asking for gods grace (the ability to say no to sin) helps and i tried asking for the gift of gods grace especially with gossip and it worked! I know this affects my integrity of character, and I know that Satan is the father of lies, and I have repented for doing this, but I still feel guilty.
