Shion is the best mid boss ever. Animation, tecnique, and personality . And is very difficult.
Shion is basically Yuiren from Daraku Tenshi (that is if he dyed his hair, changed clothes/fighting style and went from being a singer to an assassin).
They're so broken that they're banned for being used competitively... yet, they're so fun to watch.
Was Magaki banned? He's pretty trash. The version of him you unlock isn't the one the AI plays with.
@@Magus12000BC all the time, he's still highly powerful, despite being "slightly" toned down.
@@DonVecta same thing with Shion in terms of being banned because of that spinning spear combo that people can do if they do a little bit of practice.

@@theawsomenesdestroyer mhm though u can't cancel it from Shion's supers as a Leader move, the most known use of it is after u send the enemy airborne from his normal form dp
Shion is the classic full fledged moveset character that only get playable on consoles instead of arcades because they didn't bother to balance at the launch.
I thought all sub bosses are somehow made playable in all games' arcade versions... About balancing, well Snk never bothered too much about balancing anything at all.
yeah I don't think u should bother thinking of SNK as someone that balances their games fairly cause they're notorious for the SNK Boss Syndrome in the first place, it's like a natural phenomenon that you'll just have to accept tbh

Shion is KOF's adult version of Bridget, would bang even if he is actually male.
The character was actually designed to be a girl and is even dubbed by a woman. Just some guys of SNK suddenly decided her to be a guy so the character would fit better with our times, but you can see even has breasts in the sprites and character art. And they never said he/she was a transgender, which would've been pretty cool.
@@rubendariofrancodiaz6944 indeed, so I don't really fault people calling Shion a she tbh cause SNK made the gender change so last-minute w/o any other changes to compliment it.

I have always appreciated the animation of KOFXI.

My only complaint in this game is the combo stop counting after the stun

stun is good though esp. for people who can't consistently do this Shion combo since that's basically a free combo on a fair matchup.

O Magaki possui um aspecto estranho parecendo ser alien por ter pele rosa com traços azuis. Esse chefão é um dos mais apelões do KOF e ele massacra direto com a bolinha rosa,o projétil azul,SDM que faz a tela ficar toda rosa,etc. O cara até consegue teleportar e ficar invisível. Magaki é o único chefe do KOF que não tem DMs normais.

Shion está vivo,porém aprisionado numa outra dimensão já que ele foi posto lá pelo Magaki porque falhou em derrotar o time que o desafiou. Por causa disso,ao Magaki abrir de novo o portal quando ia fugir,Shion se zangou e lançou a lança no coração do Magaki matando-o. Magaki ficava implicando direto com Shion sobre não trair ele.
Ei, me explica quem é o Magaki, nunca entendi o q é ele c aqueles olhos , parece um et é uma versão drag do orochi, existe relação entre eles???
Magaki é um dos seres do passado e magaki é chefe desse game por que testa o poder de Orochi na gente
Mas Shroom e Rimelo tem acesso a essa dimensão e já encontraram Shion lá, eles podem ter saído, ou se enfrentado, não mostra no jogo.
@@webertperdigao7842 Magaki é o chefão final do KOF XI. Ele é o segundo no comando do grupo Aqueles que Vieram do Passado dessa saga anterior que tem o KOF 2003,KOF XI e KOF XIII. O Magaki tem poder de soltar projétil de bola rosa em tudo quanto é lado,solta energia azul em forma de um outro projétil que vai pra cima da tela e pra baixo da tela,faz explosão,se teleporta,fica invisível,tem fogo roxo ao agarrar oponente soltando e tem somente um SDM/Super Special que faz a tela ficar toda rosa causando energia explosiva arrancando bastante o life da barra de life do oponente fazendo aparecer olhos azuis e linhas azuis na pele rosa do Magaki. Ele não tem DMs/Specials. Que eu saiba Magaki e Orochi não tem relação nenhuma. Aqueles olhos azuis lá faz parte do poder dele devido a transformação já que tem ele na forma humana em pele branca com cabelo curto e na forma assustadora quando ele se transforma deixando a pele ficar rosa com olhos azuis e cabelo longo além de desintegrar o blazer branco. Esse chefe é bastante apelão e bastante difícil de ser derrotado. Depois que ele é derrotado no KOF XI o Magaki ia fugir por um portal diferente do portal que levou o time que você joga pro Hall dele sendo que ao voltar ao normal o Magaki trouxe de volta pro local aonde o time lutou contra Shion e derrotou este sendo que Shion ao perder acabou sendo pego por Magaki e levado para uma outra dimensão por um portal ficando preso e Magaki saiu de lá pra enfrentar o time que você joga. Magaki ia fugir por um portal rindo até que a lança do Shion acerta o coração do Magaki furando o tórax dele fazendo matar este caindo no chão e o portal fecha sem ele entrar apesar do Shion ainda continuar preso na dimensão após trair Magaki sendo que o Shion tava revoltado apesar de trair o Magaki.

O Shion (devia ser mulher,mas a SNK pôs como homem andrógino) é terrível. Ele apela bastante com esse golpe a distancia com a mão aberta lembrando Takuma no KOF 2002 assim como também apela na lança,nos golpes e nos DMs. Esse lutador é rápido e ágil. O cenário dele é sinistro e a música dele parece lembrar algo familiar.
Concordo c tudo q vc disse, só não me incomodo dele ser homem andrógino, pois afinal d contas é apenas um personagem, acho até q deu ar d mistério à ele 😂😂
O golpe à distância é um projétil, e provavelmente tem uma hitbox larga, mas é do tamanho de uma semente.

Shion...um ótimo personagem que a Snk poderia aproveitar em novos jogos e nada....
Se prestar atenção, não é muito frequente que reutilizam chars que são oponentes relevantes da história e subchefes. Praticamente só a Chizuru e a Kula.
Agora é diferente num jogo dreammatch. Aí entra de tudo, até chars mortos como o time do Yashiro no Kof 02. Se tivesse um dreammatch baseado na saga Ash, aí sim ele teria entrado com certeza.

@@kitu-kof2002 There wont be any Ash saga dreammatch, just because a new arc already started. So by definition the next dreammatch wont be for Ash saga but this new one. Not that it's a problem... I'm Just pointing out the difference. A dreammatch brings all arcs together, so the next one will get chars from the Ash saga anyways.
