This movie is "High Wind in Jamaica" released in1965. Great film. I have never seen it before, but Anthony Quinn is great as the pirate captain! I really loved this movie. Thanks.

i think emily killed the tied up captain out of fear and the ship captain hid the body to protect her, then when the crew was put on trial she couldnt admit she killed him so the captain was accused and hung
'Drama' means theatre ... in the original meaning (greek). If you refer to "emotional", then this is a superb 'dramatic drama' (Modern films are most often blunt rough)
