OUR THEME - Ang Pagbabalik Natin
This year’s PCN theme, "Ang Pagbabalik Natin," which translates to “Our Return Home,” is a representation of coming back to a place we personally call home. We may all define “home” differently, whether it be a physical place, our homeland, or our loved ones. For many of us, home is something that we find comfort in and call our safe haven. As we are still living through the pandemic, it may sometimes be easy to lose our sense of direction. Through it all, there are always our friends and family, as well as memorable places, that remain as constants in our lives, as they are what we can everlastingly return to. Our culture night will be dedicated to our family and friends, as well as our ability to return with even more strength.
PHILANTHROPY - PUSO Foundation
For this year, FIL-SOC has chosen to partner with The Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation (YBH) as our philanthropy project. The foundation’s mission is to provide resources and programs that make education more accessible for the youth in different communities in the Philippines. Through programs, such as building boats to provide children with transportation to school, dormitories for them to stay in, and even schools, the foundation works to bring about a positive impact and change.
