Okay, apparently there's a bunch of idiots in the comments who are using this video to spread hate on Youngeun, so I just wanna clarify these points for future Kep1er fans who might misunderstand Youngeun based on these few clips or based on these people's dumb, untruthful and hateful comments. 1- Wang Yale was the leader of "my house" team, initially she didn't listen to her team's suggestions and kept saturating the song with unnecessary cords and harmonizations that are out of her vocal range. Youngeun respectfully gave her a few pointers and suggestions here and there about what to do with the song which is a totally normal thing to do in a group work. Later on the team performed well, they got praised by the masters and Yale even thanked Youngeun for helping her with the leadership. They all hugged each other and were very happy with their performance, I dunno why people are blaming Youngeun for Yale's bad portrayal by Mnet when she had nothing to do with it. Mnet are the ones doing the editing. 2- Ruiqi wanted to get the main vocal position of team "snake" despite saying that she's sick and has a sore throat, Youngeun called her out on this and said it was an irresponsible thing to do which is a totally valid point especially since Ruiqi would be putting the entire team's performance at risk. Ruiqi didn't perform well during the interim check (most likely due to her sore throat) so the mentors suggested the main vocal position to be switched to another C trainee (Yaning). 3- Youngeun wasn't glaring at anyone, the girl is just obviously stressed, it's a survival show they had to practice all day long by themselves, they didn't get enough sleep and the mentors didn't provide much help, they only came occasionally to check on their progress. 4- Contrary to what some people are saying in the comments, Ruiqi and Youngeun actually had a friendly relationship, they were seen dancing and vibing together during the GP999 fanmeeting. Mnet tried pitting Youngeun and Ruiqi against each other and creating "rivalries" and drama just to increase their flop ratings, that's all there is to it. 5- During the show Youngeun was a well-loved, talented, respectful, funny, easy to work with, very supportive and hyperactive trainee who's friendly with everyone. Other trainees were always happy to have her in their teams. Yurina even said the YXY cell were like a family during one of her livestreams after the show ended. I really liked RuiQi and still think she's a star. But I think U + Me = Love solidified YoungEun's position in Kep1er. If it was RuiQi who went there, the audience could've been convinced that they needed RuiQi as Main/Lead vocalist in the final group. At the end of the competition, Yongeun went from being a rapper/dancer to strong vocalist. Meanwhile RuiQi was always a good dancer since her first performance. ruiqi sang with a stronger tone, making the song more powerful. youngeun sang with a better technique. so i personally prefer ruiqi too although youngeun is a stronger vocalist. but if you want me to compare yanning and ruiqi, i would prefer yanning because yanning’s voice sounds better compared to the shouting ruiqi. after all, youngeun is like dayeon, both has strong stage presence but weaker than cgroup so they would end up blending into the group too. ruiqi in the end also did her vocal 2 well and i am Glad that they changed her main vocalist. yes, i am also annoyed at the fact that they votes for the cgroup members. likecgroup fans are complaining that the trainees are getting discrimainated against but is the kgroup not discriminated against???

ruiqi sang with a stronger tone, making the song more powerful. youngeun sang with a better technique. so i personally prefer ruiqi too although youngeun is a stronger vocalist. but if you want me to compare yanning and ruiqi, i would prefer yanning because yanning’s voice sounds better compared to the shouting ruiqi. after all, youngeun is like dayeon, both has strong stage presence but weaker than cgroup so they would end up blending into the group too. ruiqi in the end also did her vocal 2 well and i am Glad that they changed her main vocalist. yes, i am also annoyed at the fact that they votes for the cgroup members. likecgroup fans are complaining that the trainees are getting discrimainated against but is the kgroup not discriminated against???
